The joke is the PC crowd trying to gloss over the fact that someone is just plain fat. I find obese people offensive. A bit of fat is one thing. When a person tops 300 pounds or worse, 900 pounds, there had better be a medical reason for it. Other wise it just shows gluttony which is a deadly sin. Or laziness which also is. Giving flab a cute name doesnt make it pretty to look at. I marvel at people who has a gut that is somewhere down their pant legs almost to the knees. How on earth?
Fat is NOT where its at. It is a major health risk. To stay trim is a constant fight. But, I hear on the scanner again and again, lift assist, person is over 300, fell on floor and cant get up by them selves. Sad. Bad enough age makes getting up harder, dont need to add extra pounds to the mix too.
When I was a checker in a grocery...long ago. A woman in her late 50s used to shop. She would set all the processed and junk food on the conveyor..cookies, pastries, chips. And then there came the DIET 7Up.
How often I wished I could tell her..take it ALL back, come back with one 6pack of regular 7Up and be thousands of calories ahead. Why did she think she was gaining?

Beauty is the individual. I see women who look way different than me and think they are beautiful. The Polynesian young women are gorgeous with their tan skins, fine features and long black hair. Many East Indian women and men are beautiful but age poorly. I guess women different then me are prettier. Long hair is a must. Liz Taylor, Cher, Angelina Yoli (sp?), Sophia Loren and many others.
I found for men across the board...Yul Brenner, Clark Gable, Kirk Douglas, the guy who played the Mummy/ Voslose? and the one who played the Arab leader that guarded.
I like straight noses but married men with big noses and my 2nd had a broken nose.
Dad had two great sayings. Love and potatos are two of a kind. Both have eyes and both are blind. And..every pot has its lid.
Pick your ideal, fall in love and he or she becomes your new ideal.

The cowards way out.

I guess ghosting is when two people are friends and one just ceases to reply. Maybe block calls or avoids the other person. No explanation, no good bye..just falls off the face of the earth.
Manner say try to break the tie. Only resort to rude behavior if the other person does and just refuses to take the hint. Or heavy hints.
I told one guy he had til I reached my door and my gun to get out of my driveway. He took THAT hint.

Maybe cause the older rooster has a better track record and is more into protecting the hens than just ripping their back feathers out. No hen likes a young rooster that jumps on, jumps off and crows about it.

I am old. Stick to my own race. Even to the point of own heritage..German. Of course, that is marriages. Otherwise, can be friends with anyone.
I worry that if everyone intermingles, we will lose the wonderful diversity of the races. Yes, some hybrids are better than not. But, how sad if all the humans on earth look alike and we have no Oriental beauties, no flawless chocolate skins, no milk white redheads and no marvels of uniqueness.

Regards to comment above a bit..I stay polite in public. But the labels I think ,would get me booted off CS and anywhere else. Facts are facts, truths are truths and PC is a fantasy. The Shadow knows.

Chasing the clock, chasing the calendar.

When you reach the age for a buckets list..its too late. I have reached the age of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Too bad it is daylight where the tunnel ends at an endless cliff.
I run a perpetual to do list. Take off on top and add on bottom. Winter brings things down and limits what can be done if it occurs outside. March is hit the ground running because by June..summer is over!! If half that list is not done, it wont all get done.
I like global warming in winter. Summer tho..not so much. The weather predict is 90s for weeks. So what do I get to do? Inside work. Winter is racing at me. Time is racing at me. And I get to cull out my closet. Work on a quilt.
The other thing that gets me is doing it alone. What happened to those kids happy to work for a few bucks? Or that good old handy man who could help out. Those with skills are booked solid. Those that aren't, dont because they are NOT handy.
Guess I will just whine and crab and plod on. Word to the young..dont wait! Do it now because the only thing in the future is to die independently dead.

Two possibles. One: They are so ugly they hope to get someone liking them before they scare the beejeebers out of them. Or, two: They are so gorgeous and hope to attract someone with their mind instead of their body.
Of course, they could be like me with a phone that cant take photos or an ancient computer like mine that cant send them most of the time.
One more scenario...their current photo is a wanted poster.

I see it as ill mannered. It happens on line, it happens in real life and it happens in families. I was raised with manners. You say what you mean and mean what you say. If you dont really like that co-worker, you politely turn them down for that drink or coffee or dinner. Male or female. You dont go and then play avoid them at the break room.
I reply to anyone who messages me on here. I inform them on here only for forums and pen pals and not dating. Often I get a thank you in return. I feel if someone takes the time to message me, manners dictate I return a reply even if negative. Or even if they read my profile and are an idiot who cant comprehend. Even if a boy looking for a free ride.
The failings of society this century is the lack of common courtesy and manners. Kids run wild in a store and wreck stuff. People block an aisle and refuse to move when you say excuse me. Road rage is running rampant. People steal parking slots, double park or in handy capped spots, let doors slam in people faces and outright attack each other over trivial stuff.
The story on media is it is due to the lock down. No. It is due to the entitlement notions foisted over the years. Dont have, steal it. Dont like them, shoot them.
I just saw some blacks on TV that beat on a woman with a walker and then stole it even! People cant even walk down a street without someone thinking it is their due to do whatever they feel like.
The old idea with ghosting is how would they feel if the shoe was on the other foot.

Ghosting, blocking..both are used by cowards. I was writing to some people. One had mentioned deleting their account. Finally did. And sent me a nice email to explain. Warnings had been made and it finally was done. Nice manners to tell me why the account was closed. Sent an email, then closed account.
I appreciated that. Now I know why the person vanished from here.
Another person, seemed we got along and suddenly blocked. HUH? Oh well..their problem not mine.
Why are people so rude or cowardly..or scared? How many stalkers are truly out there? Is it so hard to tell someone, hey..I am too busy to continue. Oh, sorry, we just have to many differences and I think we should quit while we are ahead. Sorry, I want to pursue a different path than you. Goodbye. It was nice while it lasted.
I hear of ghosting often. It hurts people. and they wonder why. Or if something bad happened like death. I remember long ago, the leach gal of a friend said I should stop over and visit more. I told her, I just had too much going on and no time for visiting, sorry. I felt slightly guilty later because I know she was dying of cancer. But, I just told her I couldnt visit. I didnt have to tell her because I had little in common with her. Or that we saw how she had used and was using our friend and didnt think she was very nice.
I couldnt be a hypocrite and visit while loathing her. Only reason we accepted her in the first place was for him.
Bottom line, grow a set and bow out gracefully. Make an excuse if you have to. But, dont let them hanging wondering why.

If vegans think they are saving the earth they are fools. The worst plague against nature are soybeans and palm oil. Livestock eat plants. Which can be grasses. The small farmer keeps his cows in pastures and woods. The huge commercial ones are the bad ones.
There are vast cattle farms in Brazil. They destroy nature.
But, those cattle and livestock are also fed soybeans and fish meal. Where do those come from? Easy. That land that was burned off to create fields for the soybeans and those fishing boats that over harvest.
But, those soybean fields go into tofu and vegan products. And those are cooked with palm oil which is a mono crop grown where jungles once thrived along with indigenous people and animals.
Remember when you brag as you eat those soy products and those made with the ubiquitous palm oil..you contributed to jungles that have been burned out to grow them.
The only really free foods are fruits and seeds. those are given to us by plants as payment for spreading their seeds. If you pull up a carrot before it goes to seed, you just murdered it. Or that cabbage, lettuce, Brussels sprouts or any vegetable. Eat those peas you baby killer.
Japanese were always a short people. Funny. They got access to meat and grew taller. Those pointed teeth we have are called canines. Why do you think nature gave them to us... to tear meat!
And dont think other predators would see us as anything but prey.

As far as strength goes, one has to remember that everyone has stuff beyond them and no shame in it. A muscle builder cant do contortionist poses. A skinny weakling cant lift 200 pounds. One person is trained how and the next wasn't. So try and you will do more than someone who never does.

Fortunately yes. My dad trained me to take over when he died. Take care of the farm and mom. It is up to me to carry on. And with some of the stuff I went through in life..good thing he did.

The age gap.

I know a couple of farmers working the land til 90 or so. I look at old people who are active and think there is now reason why I can't try. People reach an age and give up or give in shall we say. Cant do that anymore..too old. The saying you are only as old as you think fits. Even elders can build muscle. But, health is a huge factor at any age. And lifestyle. Better an older person than an alcoholic or smoker or couch potato.

The only one would be Vincent Price. A self made man who pursued the path of a well known and respected art collector and gentleman who was married til death. The breed now that think they are greater than anyone else on earth.
My guy was at talking to someone who went to the Iola car show. The actor who played Greg on the Brady bunch was the guest celeb. He walked around with bodyguards and no one was allowed closer than 25 feet. The radio guy went to talk and was told to step back. I wish I had been there. I have little idea of who he is and would have done better. " Hey you? Who exactly are you? I get it, some actor...but what..Father Knows Best? The dad on Hazel?'
I see a bunch of ill mannered people who because they had ONE talent, that of acting, earn a load of money and then act like royalty. They HAVE huge houses designed and built by others. The houses and property are maintained by others and so big the actor wastes most of it. If they ever get to spend anytime in them. Because if they arent working the crowd, they will get forgotten and the masses will move onto the next flavor of the moment.
Now Leno or..or...argh! The actor who played the Tool Man on TV...them I could. Talk cars and sensible stuff. The rest? What do you talk about. Other than themselves. Or shoes?

Alive? And healthy. Hopefully life stays as it is now. Only better. No way to predict how this country will hold together. As long as they stay off my farm and out of my face..the rats can eat each other.

Hope springs eternal in the hearts of the doomed. That goes for men and women. I crack up at the ill matched who think the opposite should find them attractive.
Why does the fat blob think the model is panting to jump in bed with them? Why does the couch potato chase after the marathon runner. At least on line!
Why does the ridge runner go after the college Masters grad? Or the high society gal after the buff construction worker?
I have always been attracted to people who shares similar backgrounds, habits, interests and likes. And have been hit up by guys who shared none of it. And sometimes, were married!

And all young women are high maintence, empty headed, wants a free ride and do nothing but preen and party. Right?
What old men are you talking about..ones in the nursing home? I see tons of "old" men who are elegant, neat and functional. And they attract many women. Why?? Because they have lots to offer as a man.
If all you set love by is being satisfied in bed, then you had better never get ill or marry, in case your stud does.
When my husband became an invalid, I was told by a couple of women they wouldnt have stayed with theirs. I felt sorry for those husbands. I told mine that I married a heart and soul...not a body. The body is just the carrier for those. And he could still guide me, listen to me, teach me and comfort me. All the things I married him for.
All couple get old. Him AND her. You better warn any potential fellow that if he ever gets poor health,you are gone like the wind.
Would I marry and invalid. No. I know the burden it is. I wish my husband had stayed well. But, I loved him before so loved him after. A neighbor gal married a guy in a wheel chair. She was in her 20s, him in his 40s. They had a great marriage til he died in a decade. I don't get why she married him. Met him in hospital where she was a nurse. But, love is love. He gave her what she needed.
Not saying you should seek out an older man. Just dont cut down those you dont know.

I wonder if the Romans realized their known world was ending. Or the Aztecs, Greeks or Mongols. Is there any civilization that has endured, as it was, forever.
The world runs on the base instincts of primitive humans and most animals. Greed, hunger, procreation, fear of the unknown and survival of the individual and family. Before books, we dont know much of predictions of the future of a nation. Thankfully, often, for the individual, change happens so slowly, we are dead before our world completely ceases to be. And that is why things are allowed to continue. Each generation grows up in the world as they know it. They bemoan the changes in their lifetime. The next thinks things are normal as they know them. Until they look back at the end.
That is how civilizations die. Bit by bit. Law by law. It is like an animal who can eat all it wants. Until it is so fat it dies. Too bad the instigators usually are long gone and cant see what the end result of their greed was.

I relate best to men my age or older. But, there is an attraction to young men for one reason. A good strong one can carry those 80 pound sacks of corn or concrete and cut firewood for hours.
Of course now the problem is getting some away from their X boxes.
Or the ones who crab because they cant park in the handicap stalls right by the front door of their gym.

How ironic. My dad was born in Germany and refused to teach me German. He told mom she is an American and English is this countries language and is all she needs. This farm was homesteaded by Germans and sold to Germans. The township here is mainly German.
Now we are all supposed to learn Spanish. ^*$%& To accommodate people who want to bring their country they fled and make America into it.
As said, we are to cater to one minority and the others can go jump. The US is supposed to be a melting pot. What happens when you fill a pot with many substances and then heat it. They all melt and blend together into one.
What I see is this favoritism to eliminate favoritism is actually dividing this country even more.
There have been bad stuff done to every group at some point. Hard working people moved past it and thrived in spite of it.
It is called assimilation people. Look it up.

The age gap.

I always liked older men. I had no interest in the mentality of boys. So that means men had to be over 40! Now the problem is an older man at my age is either in a nursing home or cemetery!
There is the fiction that cause someone is older, they are more experienced. Women past menopause may lose interest in bedroom activity unless he helps her change that blasted bedding. Or turn the mattress.
Men may be selfish lovers when young and never change. The fumbling teen may never learn nor grow out of it. Religion affects ideas. Parents and society sets a person onto a mind set.
My first husband was a Peter Pan. When he died at 53, his second wife had given up on him. She bought a house and moved and said he was welcome anytime he wished. But, he couldnt part with his junking and habits. He died as he had been at 20.
Age is a factor often. For one thing, familiarity to the past. Too large a gap and you are on different wave lengths. One likes opera and the other rap and they cant stand the opposite. One cant think of the name of an actor or movie or whatever and the other cant fill it in because they never saw it or lived through it.
People try to relate to their children. How awful to try raising a spouse at the same time.
Life styles are shaped by the time people grow up in. Hard to understand the different habits, morals, history, interests and all when there is a big gap in age. The two have to have very similar interest and experiences to relate. It doesnt work when one is crazy over Spongebob and Hello Kitty and the other collects beer cans and Precious moments. Takes waaaayyyy to much understanding.

Really FIRED only once. When I was only 20 or so. Actually I had been let go from previous job so kind of fired. I had worked for dry cleaners. Left and came back to it and new owner. Well we had 3 young gals and one old bat. The boss said he had to let me go, as well as the other two cause he was having an affair with the old bat. Made her manager and she ordered we all go or she would quit and/or tell his wife. Never figured him out! His wife was waaaayyyy better.
So I applied at an army surplus store in town. I was told to wear dresses. And ended up lugging tarps and boots and heavy boxes up from basement on rickety old open backed wood steps. I worked one week and he fired me. I was traumatized cause this was a REAL firing! I asked his wife why. She was one of those left over babes with bouffant hair style of the 50s. She hemmed and hawed, finally told me cause my hair was not super cute. Uh..I wore a wig at interview?
Today she and he would have gotten an ear full. So I am supposed to dress like a harlot to lure the men to shop while working like a stevedore lugging weight?
I didn't know what to do. I went back to my old boss and asked him what I should do. He said dont even worry about it. When I applied for a job, put down that he was my last boss. Dont even put down nor mention the surplus. I did go back to work for him for a couple weeks in another store he bought to close. And the old bat finally ordered him to divorce his wife. He fired HER! lol
Revenge...surplus folded in a few years.
All my jobs terminated by me or because biz folded.
When I applied at the radio station, boss said to me, dont know if safe to hire me since all the past jobs had folded. I worked for him for 14 years. And then the new owner decided to go to satellite from his northern station. I was the last sales/office to leave. We talked and I said I knew there were no stores left in town to sell ads too! I went through my desk and thought of all the sales people I had exited and this was the last one, my own. Guy ended up selling the station to the other owner of broadcast.
I retired at 59...was not interested in working anymore.

The world is going to H in a hand basket. And the peasants can only try to survive. My guy watches a ton of conspiracy u tube videos. Doesnt believe them but doesnt disbelieve either. The powers that be want to do a money dump and switch to crypto currency. Turn in your money or lose it. The wealthy are fighting cause they like their money secret. The covid is to control or eliminate population. The Greys are going to show themselves and take over.
How do we really know what is truth and what is fiction when stories and "facts" sound so good.
I am a survivalist. So buy silver, keep well stocked and be prepared to hunker down and shoot to kill.
And hope the world holds together for me to make it to my death bed in peace and comfort.

The age gap.

My parents were 25 years apart in age. They met when dad was in his 40s. And left mom a widow at 55. The fact that he was in his 40s when mom was in her 20s, wasnt an issue.
But, I get emailed by under 50s and even under 30s. I think, what do they want with an old woman. Some of the foreign or "kids" I understand. No, not getting you a green card. No..I am not setting you up in business, sending you to college, giving you a few grand, or leaving you my estate.
But, the 25 year gap or 30 or 40 makes a big difference when the oldest is 70. Do they stop to think about it. How many good years does the elder have left. Do they see the future of becoming a care giver? Sitting and watching TV because the elder can hardly walk anymore. Or deal with health issues? Visiting the loved one in the nursing home who took all the money and house?
Think about it. When the younger gets old..who will care for them both. The elder sure can't.
To know someone and fall in love is one thing. To seek out an old person and then fall in love is insane. Especially on a date site.

Agree with birth rates. It is..what...4000 babies born every day? Whether man or nature, it is a losing proposition. The saddest part is how many of those babies are born in lands where it already has reached more humans than it can support. So those babies are doomed at birth.
Nature abhors a vacuum. It also hates over population. She learned her lesson with dinosaurs. Un-viable life forms must be destroyed, reduced, changed. She is constantly trying to limit humans. Disease, weather, natural disasters. One day she will say THAT IS IT!
Perhaps the elite designed covid..or not. Purpose? Reduce poor? Make cash for big pharma? Warfare? The story will never come out.
Is it as bad as flu? Or is it hyped up to make money or control the masses. Or media who cherishes tabloid reporting and drama.
What evil lucks in the hearts of man..the Shadow knows.

What kills me is we fight a war against and enemy. Then rebuild them so they can fight us again. All in the name of profit, not humanity.
