Masks are contrary to civil rights.

For some reason I view those clear mouth masks as creepy! The US is seeing a spike in cases badly. Reasons are people congregating and not wearing masks. I dislike them, but do what has to be done to stay safe. Or at least try to.
I just ordered microfiber cleaning cloths. Said they make good masks due to tightness plus electrostatic repelling of germs.
If you think this virus is mild, check with all those dead people, sick people and now the ones that seems to have it for weeks and months.

Don't know about where you are, but the US is shutting down clubs and bars and restaurants again or setting limits. Some states on coasts and southwest are spiking covid cases up the wazoo due to idiots who are packing into such venues. The case load is now under 37 and heavily to the 20s. This virus doesn't care if you are bored and loves careless fools. So sticking to social distancing and avoiding going anywhere that is not necessity.

What I noticed from years back...
First, matching is a joke. The site wants lots of happy customers so they match to anyone and everyone. I had said within 50 miles, no kids, no religious men. The site sent matches in foreign countries, across the continent,guys hung up on their kids, highly religious...so I figured out match is a joke.
Second, picking is a beauty contest. Men and women go first by photo. So anyone below average has little chance. Even from below average. I saw it live with a brother in law. He was 5'10, 300 pounds and nothing to look at. Every time he went wow it was a gorgeous babe. Every time he saw a gal who looked like him he cut her to pieces. Talk about the kettle calling the pot black. So below average rejects anyone they could actually date. Sorry, movie star not marrying low life.
Third, some people like others like they are hitting the button on the slot machine. Just to see what happens. When someone actually replies, they ignore it. And some view likes back as a score card.look at me.
Forth, back to the photo. That person liked me, yuck...not good looking enough for me to bother with. Or if they check profile, find something off to them.
Fifth, lack of social graces. Rude. These are the people who when you hold a door for them, sail through like the Queen without a thank you. It is their due for people to grovel at their feet. Manners on dating sites go out the window.
Last, not knowing who they want nor what they want. But, certain they deserve the best. Street walker certain if she just could meet HRH they would realize they can't live without her. Or jobless gross guys thinks HRH is dying to marry them. So no matter who replies, they will hold out for better.

I hear this as a reason someone isn't and wont wear a mask to follow store rules in an attempt to curtail covid spread. Really?!!
Seems to me I see signs in stores for years..no shirt, no shoes, no service. ( guess pants are optional ). It is law that one can not walk down a street naked, nor enter a public area like a store or restaurant. And people take no issue with those rules. That is the law, that is social norm so everyone does it.
So what the H is the difference with wearing a mask to help public health? Seems an excuse to me to be a contrary. Are they a pain. Yep. Do they work..sure hope so. In the face of this weird virus and the risks, about all that we can do. That and stay out of each others personal space. What is up with that too?

Life on my farm as a recluse hasn't changed much. I see people reacting as to their true nature. Those who are kind are and those who seek harm use this new norm as an excuse.
I think when all is said and done, life will return to the same pattern. Good will lessen and bad will too.
Complacency and boredom are the issues now. I see it too. At least at home. My boarder has been on medical leave so I have gotten lax about sanitizing the kitchen and being in the same room with him. Now he is back to work around other people, I will have to get back in the mode of avoidance.
One issue is people like me who have not known anyone with Covid. So all we have to go on are stories and numbers on the TV. Then you though in bored teens and young people, hot summer days and caution is thrown out the window.
It is like a dog who is kicked all the time. After awhile he sees it as normal and dodges and goes on his way. Whatever.
I miss resale shops and going to a box store or a restaurant. Think about it. But, slap myself along side my head and say, get over it!

What kind of cell phone do you own

I liked my old Nokia. See they started to make them again for people tired of smartphones. At first I was Then thought it over. They were bulky. Decided I like the flip phone. Smaller and compact and the face is protected. My scanner is constant with mis-dialed 911..pocket dials more than often. My guy says how cause his cell has to be activated to dial. Yeah? Then why do you want my number in as last called when you pocket dial???
By what I read, some smartphones have an emergency button that can be hit by accident.
One thing I hate is someone with a smart phone texting me. I am hunt and pecking a reply and get 2 more from him...argh...give me a chance!!!

Second that. Due to the risks with on line contacts, just a way to get flim flammed more. The best way is to use this site to communicate until certain you wish further contact. Then there are other means like email or phones or skype type stuff to do it.
Once too personal a link has been established, hard to lose a creep or stalker.

Biden will win. You know why? I took three survey polls. Each asked similar questions. And for each I indicated I would vote for Trump. And each time I was dumped and told, sorry, you don't qualify or survey is full.
Talk about stacking the deck. They then can say 100% said they would vote for Biden, by simply NOT COUNTING anyone NOT saying they wouldn't.
The other trick in polls is the amount of people surveyed. Check the numbers and it is 200 or maybe 2000. Gee, that is really a cross section of the millions of people in the country! Kind of like the approval for drugs.
I asked the dentist once about a toothpaste that promises to rebuild enamel. He said the way they get to advertise it is by showing in a lab, it did grow 1% or so. Therefore they aren't lying. Are they?

This deal with Floyd is getting ridiculous! Turned TV on for news and EVERY blamed network was showing his funeral. You would think that criminal was King or some Saint!

She is black and tells the criminal history of Floyd that is as long as my arm. The worst case was he held a gun to a black woman's preggers stomach during a house invasion with 5 other men while they looked for drugs.
I did see the autopsy found fentinal in his system. And reports that he was high.
She goes on to say she agrees that he should not have been murdered and the cop should be tried. But, that she can't understand why her race holds up criminals who get killed by cops in the act of a crime.
Also that how many killed are by their own people. Even tho they are 6% or something of population, they do 40% of the crimes.
It looks like a man with 16 plus jail sentences was killed by a cop who should have been jailed 16 plus times. Poetic justice?
She also points out during the riots all the good Negros who got killed by rioters. Like a 77 year old cop.
I know I saw blurbs of others who got killed. Of course they didn't get the news coverage.
Enough with Floyd! Bad, he was murdered by a cop. But, stop putting his statue next to Kings!

The books of the Bible were written decades later. And then chosen which to use. Then re-written in translation a few hundred times. So who knows what the real story is. Same goes for writings of Rome or Greece. Ideas they had. And I didn't see anything above about skin color, just had light brown hair and sun burned cheeks.
I don't get why people worship Mary. I think Joe got the short end. He married an unwed mother knocked up by some other guy. And raised the kid as his own. He is the one that should be honored. Mary had no choice in getting PG.

I was raised to find all humans the same. All equal, the redneck, the ridge runner, the average Jones, the rich. Take each according to how they treat you and the world around them.
But, time has taught me all are not equal. Often it is the poor who shares what little they have while the rich hoard it even if junk.
All races are prejudiced against other races. Certain people in all groups give and die giving. Others take anyway they can and should die.
I am not prejudiced against a race. I am however, against those members of a race that when the news reports a crime, you assume, usually rightly what race they are.
I hate rioters, looters, destroyers, users, shirkers, lay abouts, whiners, finger pointers, thieves, crooks, egotists, fools and those who use race as an answer to anything. The good old race card.
No one owes us a dang thing. We earn it. And thank those who worked to give us anything.
It makes no mind what body a good heart dwells in. Not intelligence, position, class, race, country or anything else that humans like to use to decide who gets what.
So I hate everyone til you prove to me that you have a good heart and soul.

Time pertains to humans only. Animals know day or night and cold and hot, feast or famine, birth and death. And their concepts of death vary from little awareness to some.
The earth is ancient, humanity is not. Yet we consider the universe in our terms and by a calendar and clock that has no meaning to any others.
How much time do we waste counting it?

I wonder how men think they will find anyone when their communication is the equivalent of grunts. They send a message...hi. Reply back and get hi. Ask a question and get yeah. Each message is a repeat of the previous.
My guy and I met via emails. He sent a first of what is up type. I answered and he came back with a joke about what I said. I wrote a bit. He wrote more, who where why what. And with each email told me about his life, childhood, personality, hobbies and more. We exchanged ideas and thoughts and daily happenings. Which is why he was attractive. NO GRUNTS!
Guys, if you are having trouble finding someone..stop GRUNTING!

What would I miss? Being lazy and looking it up on line rather than digging in my reference books. Shopping on ebay around the world. Other than that, not much of anything. Still use landline and mail letters.

Not me, my mother. Her phone rang and she answered. Another older womans voice said how are you. Fine, you? So the convo went on..how is Bernice, oh good. Art, fine....A half hour! lol. Seems every name either mentioned, the other had a relative with the same name. Finally the woman asked how ***** was. Huh? Mom said, uh, who is this. Woman said her name...total stranger! They laughed over it and how each had the same family names and hung up.

The world of hot rods is not what it used to be. Nor car mags. Street Rodder is gone, Rod and Custom,Car craft too. When they said I could go on line or get Motor Trend, I finally got through the over loaded phone line and said NO WAY! They switched the remaining issues to my Hot Rod subscription.
Street Rodder had lots of how to build stuff. I guess the kids who own fart poppers only want to know what wraps, sound systems or wheels they can put on.
Boarder got a free sub to Car and Driver. What trash! Even to those into new cars. What is it, a wish book. Oh sure, everyone wants a review of the new BMW, Lexus, Tesla, Porsche or other car priced at 50K or more! They don't seem too interested in cars people actually buy!
Amazed the Low Rider mags are still out there. Guess instead of selling my car mags from the 60/70s I should just re-read them.

Good old melanin cells that expand. In hot countries they just never shrunk. Protection from UV. Funny thing tho is dark skin can burn too. And light skin who cut down dark and then tan to look like them.
Used to be a class thing. Rich got to sunbathe on beaches. Poor got to work summer away shut in dark factories and sweat shops. How to tell wealth. Then when poor could get outside more, tanning went out and paler the better.
I think it would be easier and healthier if rich just hung a tag on with their net worth. Kind of like a designer label. I have more money than you do...

I hate captcha!

I just wonder if there are bots who can figure them out. When you have a computer who can outplay in chess, how hard can captcha be?
Surveys I do have a cooler trick. They show the question and then tell you to mark a certain choice. Makes sure you are actually reading and real.
What is bad are the ones that either are so blurred you can't make it out. Or the ones with pictures that are ambiguous.
The one used here is decent at least.

At least some countries have sense. News scenes of the US beaches and pools show people packed like sardines. I can't imagine why anyone would want to do that without Covid. What fun is it to basically stand in the pool because it is so crowded no one can swim or move!
I want to see the count soar in a week or so.

So who can afford to waste rubber when tires are half bald to start with?! The guy who worked on my 54 Harley trike said he passed me on the highway one day. He had ridden hard tails years back. He said he winced seeing how the bike bounced. I said doesn't bother me. Know every bump along the route and just post like riding a trotting horse. Altho laying down with feet on highway pegs, just went with it like rocking in the sea.
