1 shot Royal Bahamian rum
1 shot Kalua
Fill mug with good strong coffee
Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Just be strong for them, darlin. About the only thing you can really do. Give them an ear to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, and cry right along with them for what could have been. Time is the only thing that will help. hug

Tough one, kiddo. For me, it worked just having people around to talk to so I didn't have to think. Anything to take your mind off him/her. The only thing that really helps is time; anything that allows time to pass without heartache helps.

Yeah, know what you mean. My wife taught here for 20+ years. They would constantly try different approaches for the gifted programs. What they've done now is to settle on "Academies". Math, science, literature, writing, and a few others I can't remember. Seems to be working fairly well; probably means its time for the state to step in and change it again!!

Who care what others think? You and your partner are the ONLY ones that have to be comfortable; everything else will work itself out. My niece just turned 22; she's getting married to a guy that's 33. They're really good for each other so who's to judge??

I agree. They don't neglect other subjects, just help reinforce the one or many that the student excels in. Let the student move forward at an faster pace then normal according to his abilities.
