Absolutely. I can turn the angriest person into the calmest person you've ever seen.. even if it's me they're angry at
But it's bloody hard work though, and draining. So as I've gotten older I've learned to pick and choose who I do it for...many have proven themselves not worth the effort...
I know someone who can breath through their ear Swimming; they only have to turn their head sideways and if they hold their nose can suck in air through their ear (left only).
If we lose our sense of smell food doesn't taste right,or in some cases there's no taste at all...and vice versa....so the two are undoubtedly connected in ways we probably don't fully understand yet...
Human body is so simple yet so complex it's probably going to be the last frontier and the last thing in the universe to give up it's secrets.....
Tis very strange alright that the vaccine would have such an effect on you and then when you do catch covid the symptons clear up..Hmm very interesting....Maybe your immune system fighting the vaccine boosted your T cells or is it white blood cells (that attack invaders) and it helped clear up the sniffles you had from the vaccine...I dunno...just a guess really, but there has to be a reason...
Bet you're glad I'm not a scientist....cos curious stuff like that always catches my interest so I'd have you on the slab by now doing investigations... *snaps on rubber gloves* " now Bodleign, this won't hurt, can you give me a little cough there good man"....
They don't have a vaccine (and by extension a booster shot) that's designed specifically for omicron.
However, if you mix your vaccine shots (e.g. 2 AstraZeneca shots then three months later a Pfizer booster shot) you're immunity is boosted up to 98% (that's the last I heard anyway).
If someone's actually had covid and then they get the vaccine they'll have even greater immunity.
Omicron is (iro) barely even a month old here, but research is on-going in to the very question you asked and apparently ivestigations are looking positive that the vaccines may well be ok against Omicron as well as the Delta and Alpha variants....
They're not my words as I don't do any reading on this subject at all, it's to much in flux for me to want to spend time on it when it might all change again in a few weeks... The above is what I've heard the scientists saying on the likes of BBC radio and RTE radio (and they tend to get good scientists in to talk about it, so are pretty reliable and probably most up to date etc..)
I believe India is (or was, not up to date on it) having a really hard time with Covd..people desperately trying to buy oxygen for loved ones as there was none in the hospitals....it's heartbreaking to think what some people have been through..so I hope you and yours are doing ok Ali
Jesus no, unless of course he genuinely does agree.....I've met plenty of men like that....and I always suspected they're probably chronically passive aggressive...or something wrong with them if they can't think for themsleves and need me to do it for me...NO thank you!
Sorry Pedro, but mostly that's down to your own thoughts and how you see them or think they are
If every time someone was in another person's company and they told each other how one made the other feel then there'd be a lot of very surprised reactions....
