Jac, the point you (didn't) make wasn't really the point. The OP was just asking women why they would choose to wear such high heels because they look like hell to wear..That's all.
I'm not sure why you needed to go to such an extreme either. There's absolutely no comparison between the Japanese breaking a child's foot in two (without anesthetic I might add) and a grown woman deciding to wear a pair of shoes that "might" do a little damage or might not.
Yeh isn't that the truth Tulefell, you can't beat the sea (or in my case the ocean) and the way being in it makes you feel.... I miss having the Atlantic on my doorstep and the feel of that first rush of cold water down the back of my westsuit ....nothing like it... I don't miss having the skin sandblasted off me by a howling onshore in january though. Then again, being in those powerful waves made it all worth while..
Honestly, get your self some help DeeDee because you sound like you might need it. And I'm not saying that to be nasty, you do sound like you could very easily implode.
If it makes you feel better then you can rant and argue with me all you want... I won't be answering or adding fuel to your fire anymore..
If I want to ask someone a question I will. If you don't like that then that's your problem, not mine..
Following me around the forum and making a nuisance of yourself isn't going to make your life any better...Maybe get some counselling for whatever it is that has you so full of hatred and anger..because whatever it is it isn't me.
That looks like Japanese women's feet and the effect of having their feet broken in order to make them smaller.. .God even just thinking about what those poor girls were put through at such a young age makes me go cold...I'll never understand how one human being can be so so cruel to another, especially to a child that has no way to defend itself...it's inhumane, it's a cruel torture and it's utterly abhorrent...
Women choosing to wear high heels that will eventually damage their own feet is a totally different matter.
I'd do nothing. I'd stand well back, let the stampede pass, walk in opposite direction and find a very quiet remote farm where no one would bother me, because if you were the last man one earth then we have bigger problems to worry about...a gun would be more valuable to me than the shredded remains of some man...
Looking at the shoes, then yes, I imagine they would be agony to wear, but a well designed, well made pair are surprisingly comfortable if they fit properly..
Crikey, I've just realised that the last time I wore those kind of shoes was xmas 2019...
Friendships online are very fleeting. People tend to be quick to judge, quick to block, slow to change. My advice to you would be not to put much stock into friendships online as they have a way of fizzling out more often than not.[/quote
Aww poor Dedovix, so you're not up to the job then... Never mind, I'm sure I'll find someone else to take your place..and he can have that wild night in the lab with me
