The immune system is linked to the brain via a communication pathway which are activated by signals from the immune system. When we're stressed, the immune system's ability to fight off antigens is reduced. That is why we are more susceptible to infections.
For myself, I think that people are dying because of stress, since there is no vaccine for COVID-19 currently and that weakens their immune system to overcome COVID-19.

COVID-19 is psychologically disturbing our mindset and treating ourselves with our mind is possible. Someone should run trials on Placebo treatment?
