Avoid taking NSAID's such as Advil as they can cause kidney damage. Low impact exercise is important to manage weight, keep muscles strong and joints flexible. My friend has arthritis in her knees (she was a long distance runner). She started taking collagen supplements when she learned she had arthritis. Apparently, her joints haven't degenerated in the five years since then. She also follows an anti-inflammatory diet - I think it's the Mediterranean diet. Alternating hot and cold therapy can also help. She will sometimes resort to wearing a knee support to keep in warmth. On "achey" days, she cycles as she finds it does provide relief without much effort. I hope you find something that provides relief in the short term.
For me, breaking the Wand of Office over her coffin symbolized the end with finality. Both services were magnificent, but the service in St. George's chapel was very poignant. It's hard to believe we won't see her anymore.
Our parents taught us that, at times of grave illness or death, we show respect. There's plenty of time later for people and countries to air their grievances.
There were times of pomp and great ceremony. The Queen has always done her duty even two days ago when she met with Liz Truss. She looked very frail yet she had a radiant smile. She kept her promise.
In the past several years, we have lived in a global environment of personal attacks and constant vitriol. Notably, the Queen went about the business of monarchy quietly and with dignity. Simply, she has just always been there. And now, we are faced with the reality that our reliance on her always being there is coming to an end.
Sad news indeed. All her children are with her. For many of us, she has been with us all our lives. She will be accorded a state funeral whether she would want one or not. People will want to pay their respects and to say a final goodbye.
Just breakfast so far. A smoothie in a bowl which included flax seeds soaked overnight, chia seeds, half a banana, coconut yogurt, one cup of blueberries, hemp hearts and a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds. Breakfast is my biggest and favorite meal of the day.
Gosh, I didn't think for a minute that Packersbabe was stereotyping. There's a lot of truth in many of the posts here regarding shopping habits of various age groups. It's what companies use to gear their advertising.
RE: Dear Diary
So pleased to hear you love it! From your description, I have a good idea how it looks. It's a beautiful cut and easy to style.
