As regards emotions I tend to keep them to myself because they are personal and I rarely share them online here, albeit I can relate to others experiences.
But seeing some stuff in life has nearly ripped me apart. So my emotions are backed up by a tried and tested coping mechanism that has actually prevented many things happening to me that otherwise would of brought me to my knees for broken me.
Most definitely not flat, neither shallow. However, ya know how it goes here about perception and understanding the context in which something is written. I would definitely labelled shallow when it comes to my preference in men, which has remained the same for many years.
Or be taken for someone who does not have a specific allegiance to a political party, some would view that as shallow and gutless. Failure to understand another in their world is lacking in all walks of life.
I think most are decent here even if they disagree and whack the nuts and bolts out of each other.
And thank you that is a kind gesture. I have not been down in that direction for sometime.
I tend not to get involved in mass disagreements as I have enough of that in work, it is and gets very heated and political at times, even then I tend just to observe and prefer to find solutions rather than exacerbate stuff that can get potentially explosive.
What are the chance of the Chancellor taking over in due course? If the conservatives rebel against BJ which they do and currently are, he would be the obvious choice.
This country can only take so much before it completely cracks at the seems, and I wonder how far we are away from that, especially in terms of mental health.
Well Christmas is literally just around the corner and it’s time to get baking Christmas pudding ready for next year. Have ones from last year I will bring out.
It was only a matter of time crossing the channel was going to be a target for middle man to exploit to try and get migrants across. The U.K. should off done something earlier to combat this, and had the capacity to do so. It happened before the pandemic gripped the world.
Politics gets in the way of planning and strategy.
The circumstances and visuals cause fear in others which trigger what I call a defence mechanism “judgement” which I understand because who wants to see the real picture.
Hope all is well with yourself. Your Sunday lunch made me hungry so I woofed down lemon sponge cake I made yesterday
There is only so many a country can cope with for a whole array of reasons.
The U.K. has to address its own internal problems with its current population.
I’m in agreement that if an asylum seeker lands in a country that is where they should be processed. However, their final destination will be at the forefront of their mind irrespective of where they land.
A lot of complexities to sift through and I wish it wasn’t that way because a lot of money is being made out of human suffering in a grand scale.
Some have suffered such atrocities and trauma they deserve a better life if their own countries regime represents a threat to their life and has indeed caused extreme harm to them.
It’s the economic migrants many have issues with.
Those camps in Calais are horrific not to say the least. Plus the ones in Greece.
Yes I do have compassion for people wanting a humane existence.
People kill and exploit their own folk.
I sure understand why we can’t and many don’t want anymore coming over. But also let’s think about the many distractions that we are fuelled with via many outlets which steer our focus elsewhere.
They did not want this story to enter into the public eye just yet.
Do you think what happened in Greece was caused on purpose ?
Government aid and the recent merger is political, deeply political, which is about VfM (Value for Money), specifically targeted at certain regions in the world.
Those hotels they are housed in are something to be desired so hopefully wherever they land up will be more humane.
Not everyone is so anti asylum seekers in the U.K.
It has never been properly organised.
The cost of this change and ongoing will be extensive, financially I’d like to see the potential cost savings, if any, and what other business the U.K. will do with the said countries.
There is a lot more to this than they are currently saying.
Remember many of the asylum seekers are prepared to take risks at any cost. Many are resilient, determined and simply don’t give up. They are tough.
How much will it cost the taxpayers in this country to facilitate such a project, in comparison to asylum seekers being processed in the U.K.? There will be extra costs and how will they off-set this in their new plan?
There are also suggestions of placing them in Morocco, Moldova and Papa New Guinea.
Then another question, if they are processed in any of the countries suggested by the government, will local nationals be employed and under what criteria? But I am sure our said government have considered all the risks associated with processing them outside of the U.K., to include a pandemic.
It will give some people the illusion our borders are safe. People who want to come to the U.K. always find a way, so how much of a deterrent this be remains to be seen if they forge ahead with this idea.
Sure to be a lot of money involved from the government with the said countries, if they agree to this project.
Most would probably give you the standard answer they are scammers. Colour could be another factor along with cultural practices. The list could be endless.

If each of the forum users were named after a different drink/cocktail then probably quite a few.
