RE: IMF

fair enough the pair of ye- you are entitled to your opinions , but remember now, no whining when your children don't pass their exams, your family member is assaulted/robbed , your UB40 claim is 'waiting to be processed' or you need your terminally ill relative to get pain medication.
we'll get to you as soon as we canyawn

RE: IMF

don't like being the hard working , bonus free(??) worker ant, grouped with the top guys that made billions and have run off scott free? join the gang!!handshake

RE: IMF

oh- just noticed that JohnnyT and Ross are both ' in finance'.
bitter that the financial gravy train you rode making obscene amounts of money for those years, (unlike the rest of us) has ground to a halt, and that you may actually have to do an honest days work, or join the unemployment line like many of us PS workers?? my heart bleeds

RE: IMF

no, he did'nt but he said that these already understaffed services 'need to be cut'.
people are already outraged at the lack of good education/policing/ health care as it is, so your plan is to cut those? How will that help society? Why not cut the the profits of overpaid, underworked 'finance ' employees?

RE: IMF

I was going to reply to this and Johnny T, but I will only deal with people with at least 2 neurones rubbing together!laugh
I hope you live happily safely intelligently and healthily in your bubble without gardai, teachers and health care workerslaugh

RE: IMF

what you don't seem to understand , is that the person that handles your claim( ie, the one that you really need is the one that WILL be cut, not the high paid 'vague' postions. The ones that are actually doing the work, many are not on permanent contracts, and can, and do get their hours cut to anything including zero, as has happened to me, so please stop going on about cushy guaranteed jobs.
That saves money, yes, but only by cutting essential services.

yeah- I liked that, and he is right, but surely Pat rabitte had much of the same information years ago as the government? why didn't HE do anything about it ? Why wait till it all goes belly up and then show strength criticising what has been done, rather than showing that strength and acting at the time and preventing it?dunno

RE: Is treating everyone the same...

I think in order for her to be treated 'equally'. she would have to be treated differently!! that is, to allow her to have an equal chance of reaching her full potential, she would need different input than some others. That's not favouring her, just giving her the same opportunities.

Of course it differs for different situations..... the hungry poor person MAY be that way because they are lazy/unmotivated... and in my opinion, shouldn't just be given the same nice things as hard working enthusiatic peopledunno If, however, they are hungry etc despite their best efforts, then, of course, they should get a fair crack of the whip to let them achieve those good thingshandshake

RE: It Made Life Easier...Really??
