OP, I am sorry you are going through this. The best way to go on is to stay busy. Take courses @ your local college, Keep track of your thoughts in a journal, read, bike - anything, just stay busy. Also, protect yourself from this type of situation in the future.
For myself, I will not partake in a "No Strings Attached" relationship. To me, they have never seemed logical nor healthy for either party, one or both run the risk of getting hurt.
I also feel too much emphasis and power is given to getting physical far too early. Often long before the relationship has become infact a realationship. How can anything survive or grow without doing the first steps? Steps of being friends and then slowly growing from there?
I have seen many a friend get hurt by trying to go too fast or to agree to no attachment, impossible, as they always get hurt or hurt the other person. I feel that if you truly care about another human being and are not sure he is what you want in the long run, one will not get involved past friendship. However, that is just my opinion.
One final bit of advice: Beware of him returning. I have seen many friends go through what you are experiencing only to have him return for another round, leaving them hurt even more. You see, often they are not happy with where ever or whomever they are and they return to a place they know they were safe and welcome while looking for the next place to go, then they remind you "No Strings Attached" remember? Please do not fall for that.
Oobie, I read last year where there are a few Countries doing that b/c the number of births needed to sustain the Population has decreased drastically. The country mentioned was Asian.
It is nice to see you too. I have said a prayer for your calf. It is so sad when the Mamas reject them. I went through that with one of my cats. Surprised me b/c the cat in question always adopted or nursed everything over the years. Then one litter and she'd have nothing to do with the one Kitten. Another Cat, that this Mama had adopted and raised, took the kitten and raised Him with her litter. He survived and has grown into a beautiful young boy. Quiet, Sweet and Gentle. Today, His own Mama adores him! He also adores and loves Her and the other Cat that raised Him. Sometimes it seems they sense something off and don't feel they can handle it. Large gardens are a bit much for me where I live but I have planted enough to have fresh food for the summer.
??? WOW! I've been here since Birth and that's the first I heard of that. There are many below the Poverty Level and have never been arrested. || What makes the acceptable level of 'enough money' anyways? A Dollar? Fifty Cents? More? Less?
I have severe Asthma. Advair is a life saver reducing my need for my emergency Inhaler. Let me see if I understand you. You don't like a Bronchial dialating drug? BUT you like and use a nebulizer with Bronchial constricting drug? Also, in the meantime you elimiate all other things that can be an irritant to the lungs... Hmmm, you really don't know that Marijuana is a irritant to the lungs? It causes just as much and more damage to the lungs as cigarettes.
She is still in the Hospital. No change, that I have heard, since yesterday. || I pray she gets well. Rene said it greatly lifts her Mom's spirtits to hear from us. Thank-you for all prayers, well wishes and good vibes sent to her. Please, let's keep them coming in.
