Know that only too well, Steve. When I first got Pierced and was branching into other earrings after healed, I took a pair off only to find no post and my ear oozing and swollen. My Husband had the worst time trying to get that post out of my earlobe. We had just about given up and were ready to go to the ER when He finally was able to grasp it with a pair of my eyebrow tweezers. This only from attending a Family Wedding!

It turned out my skin is too acidic to be able to wear those with a low carat rating.

I have to have only the highest content of Gold in the mixed ones I can get or Platinum posts.

However, Sterling Silver does not bother me so that is oft a much less expensive option. Some with Surgical Steel can withstand my skin's acidity.

Nah, I don't think so. I like seeing guys of any age with nice reasonable earrings. I have 4 in each ear. I wear nice small, reasonable earrings.

However, I agree with you on your earlier post about the dangers of piercings in areas that can cause harm, ie: the Navel. Folks that is a OPEN access to the body. The belly button protects the body after birth.

However, the canal that fed and cleaned you in vitro is still there and very dangerous to pierce. The world is not the safe environment of the Womb.

My take is this is the International Forums. Those that want to change it to the insert here:(whatever is my beliefs and or nationality, Forums - SHOULD go to their own country, or state's Forum pages and leave the International Forums for those of us that wish to interact and learn from as well as make friends from those of other nationalities.

IMHO most of the aggression starts b/c we want others to believe the way we do. It is normal.

HOWEVER, many of us have chosen to be here, b/c we can set that aside and broaden our horizons by interacting with other's Cultures and Beliefs.

Those that do not have this kind of open-mindedness, will, sadly always cause trouble.

I think it is a left over to waaayyyyy back when in prehistoric times . . . But it is very Romantic. . .makes us feel wonderful . . .Cherished, protected and a little oh my, breathless at the same time...

The last part is sort of why I think it is a left over from PH time as in many ways is the ways you guys have had to get creative to let out the aggression tendencies that have moved forward with evolution.

There are time when a woman gets feelings that are a mixture of love, warmth fear and of being protected all in one. Hard to explain Bob.

But it seems that it is a left over mechanism.

Look at the Wild, the males fight in some species over a female the winner takes her home even if he was not necessarily her choice.

Like I said, hard to explain but THERE really IS something in it. Just my opinion.

I have heard that on the Holiest Night, the animals talk in language. I do not know if it is true or not. When I was young, I used to try and catch them at it.

I do KNOW that they look at me with at look of GO TO BED AND GO TO SLEEP!!!!, if I am home on that night.

I have come home after being out for services on that night to find all looking at me as though I walked in on a private conversation and looking at me with a Do you, mind? BUTT OUT!!!! and the same exasperated look of GO TO BED!!!!! on all faces.

My Dad said when he was alive that Humans are the stupid ones and Animals are the smart ones. They know when something is wrong and have to work their tails off to get our attention to save our lives. Yet they understand our language commands and other animals language. Whereas, we have yet to interpret their language.

You are right, your boys do know more about you than you know about you. I know my lot, knows me thant I do about me.

PS, Zebulun is my other Former Feral. He is 3 now. Miri just passed this week. She was very old. She woke me in the middle of the night (before I was to start Census Training, for working in the next 8 weeks), She insisted I hold and pet her, while she licked my face.

The Queen of the whole lot, Rivkah, now 7yrs helped her to wake me, Miri was not one to be cuddled. Rivkah was 6 mos old when Miri came to live with us, shewas somewhere between ~5 to 7, back then. Rivkah was THE Queen @ 6 mos of age, so When She gets involved, I know they are tlling me somthing.

Well, I woke when Rivkah was insistant. It crossed my Mind that It might be the last time I got to cuddle Miri. It was.
She passed shortly before I came home from the first day of training, on Tuesday.

Miri knew and she was letting me know.
