RE: Female Soul

No, not all.

RE: whats your thoughts on this?

Sounds like my Parents. Many Old World, Old Culture Families STILL do this.

My Parents did not always go with us and our friends but they had many hard line unbreakable rules in this arena, I posted their rules in a past thread.

However, they DID know the person we were dating VERY well b4 letting us date him/her. There was NO "Hi Dad&Mom, I have a date with the new Boy/Girl in the School that just moved in a while back". No way. Such an announcement would have been met with how long have you known him/her? Where do they live? Where are they from? What kind of values do their Parents promote, ETC<ETC.

In many ways, it can be a good concept, in others, well, how well can you get to know another persons thoughts, companionship all the things that lead to a relationship without much privacy?

Um Thumper, I think, the UK is expieriencing unusual amounts of Snow and Cold, for thier normal climate, if I am not mistaken.

That is for them like the South in USA getting a few inches of snow and not being expierienced, flipping the cars by trying to over correct a spin or slide.

My Sister told me when they moved to SC. They got a deep snow of ~ 10 inches. The neighbor cam running out in his bathrobe and Slippers telling my Brother-in-law, as he was clearing off their trucks to go to work, the HP says if you don't know how to drive in this, stay home.

My B-I-L told him we are from Ohio. We have driven in deeper stuff than this. . . His neighbor goes Oh. OK. Carry on then

RE: tired of games

Steered relationships nearly always fail. Steered relationships are also nearly always percieved myby many women as a danger signal about a guy.doh doh doh

RE: tired of games

Um, May I interject here.

You are writing in the posessive form here. A FEW DAYS, then they LEAVE you???????

I am sorry but a few days is not enought time to know a person, let alone a potiential LifeMate.

If you are being posessive from the get go practically, you will scare off many women.

Sit back relax and become friends first. Let the friendship develop without trying to steer it into the relationship you want.

Steered relationships nearly always fail. Steered relationships are also nearly always percieved my many women as a danger signal about a guy.

This signal tells us that the possibility the guy is very controlling, desperate and would cause much drama for us if he will not accept our rejection of him.

There have been guys I politely refused only to have them come back with a that's nice Dear, please accept my Love. I Love you and want to have you Love, quote/unquote.

I politely told them several time s that I am not looking and can only offer friendship at this point in my life.

After all these polite rejections and they refuse to accept it, I then have no choice but to ignore them.

A relationship should be built on a firm foundation of Friendship which should naturally and in G-d's time if it is HIS will, grow in to Love then finally a relationship.

Such a process takes much time and not a few days, that is very rare.

RE: If a couple becomes pregnant but are not in love, should they still get married?

No, that is the worst mistake a couple can make. Better to remain frineds and both be committed to the best welfare of the Child in joint parenting.

If Love develops then, discussions and decisions can be made if the Love is mutual for both persons.

A Marriage sould always be based on Friendship, Love and commitment NOT because of a Child.

RE: Majority

Seems this was true at one time.

It seems in the west there are more females than males.

However, after talking with friends from areas where (until last century), female genocide was practiced for many centuries, there are less females than males.

If this is true, it would be hard to say then for sure what the true world wide ratio is.

All I know is Guys that Married Women in my Synagoge, said that when they wre reaching the ages where they were starting to notice women, they asked where all the girls were?

Then when they realized there were not enough women to go around, they were glad their parents were escaping from said areas.

All of these guys are married to American Women and told me and other friends, that their former homelands will have to start importing brides from other countries due to the past practices of female genocide, b/c the insurance policy for old age is the Son and Daughters are considered worthless in many areas.

This is what I was tyold by quite a few guys from other areas of the Far East. I take it with a grain of salt yet, this is food for thought see:

RE: petroling cow

Well, it seems the experimenting needs to be done on the "Cow Pies", rather than the cow per se.

In the 1800's dried "Cow Pies" were used for heat and cooking in the peat homes of the Praire settlers as there were no trees. So, since they could burn very effectively dried, it stands to reason that fresh cow pies may have many more uses as the Methane content could be stronger/higher than when dried. . . One would think any ways.conversing conversing conversing conversing

RE: Is it true?

Forgiveness for a mistake is one thing. Loss of respect is entirely another thing, in general.

If the mistake is constantly repeated, w/o learning and changing and forgivness becomes rote, then respect can be lost. But Love can still be there for both persons.

What a letdown.

Thanks, Trish. It is just that many of us rely on being able to use the campus not just whne we have the Funding to be enrolled, but also tho follow along and work with our Professors, on an independent study, alowing us to keep up and test out at a later date.

This is endangered when a group does stupid things. They ruin things for the rest of us.

RE: My dog snores!!

My Dogs and two of my cats all snore. The middle Lab very loudly. She vibrates my arm as she is sleeping. She is the big cuddler. The two snoring cats sleep on my stomach and they snore big time.

I was reading a book to fall asleep, and every one was cutting them up but me, LOL!!!!

What a letdown.

Hi all.

Well, Campus opened up from the Holidays.

I went traipsing into the Computer Labs to use my favorite Mac. looking for some good time on CS after homework.

I stopped in my tracks staring. To my utter shock, ALL the Mac's were gone!!!!! All eight of them!!!!!!

I exclaimed What Happened to the Mac's????????? to my friend and fellow student working in the Lab.

He told me that the computer upgrade independent contractors on the 7th floor took them on last Monday, when the Campus was closed.

Under closed circuit but very visible camera!!!!!

This is very disheartening.

We are trying to get our educations. Times are rough. I and many of my classmates are underfunded, so we are doing the best we can to keep up via independent study/Test out, while we continue to seek additional financial funding.

Then a bunch of idiots steal the best computers on campus!!!!!!! Making things even harder for the rest of us not just in terms of studying, but now we may not beable to be here w/o current enrollment or we may have to pay extra $$$ to compensate for idiots.

Well, Happy New Year to Us as we return to classes.frustrated frustrated frustrated very mad very mad very mad very mad very mad moping moping
