I started to respond by saying listen to both. But it occurred to me that the head is easily influenced by fears, insecurities, and bad memories. the heart is influenced by lonliness, need to feel loved, even by the wrong person. So, I don't think there is one right answer to the question. I think you just have to know yourself well enough to understand whether it is your heart or your head that you can most rely on for the right answer.
I'm not sure any one subject is more important than another (when it comes to the majors). We have to have a basc understanding of science-biology, chemistry, A&P so we understandhow our bodies, the planet and the universe works (on a basic level). Writing & language -I work with so many people who don't have basic writing and language skills and can't express themselves in writing. It can be very limiting. Understanding geography can be pretty important. And last but not least history. Better to learn from the lessons of the past than to repeat them.
i think there is a big difference. first, you aren't posting a pic of someone else without their permisssion. and the second is people should expect that you have a past-so cropped is OK. but if the person is still in the pic-it gives the impression they are still in the pic so to speak.
It's hard not to make assumptions/impressions. Really, isn't that what we are all trying to do when we post pics is make some kind of an impression, or say something about ourselves? I just think that people who post this way may not realize what others may actually see.
Good idea. Someone went around my town and posted signs at intersections so you would see them when stopped at a red light. Funny thing is I considered checking it out but didn't. One night I decided to check out on-line dating and this webite was one of the first that came up on the search engine. I eventually put 2&2 together. Only wish I had tried it when I first saw the signs. Anyway, I see a fair # of local people on here so I think the signs helped.
Exactly. That's why I'm wondering how anyone could expect to meet someone new if there is someone who looks like a partner in the pic. It makes me think they haven't let go yet. Who wants to get in the middle of that? Not me!
It's my first time too and it's too soon to tell if it will work. I will say that I think you are choosing the wrong women to email. I have responded to every mail and flower whether there was an immediate interest or not. You never know how things will turnout and it's the least I can do to show my appreciation for the interest in me. My two cents...
Why do people post pics of themselves with others? I wouldn't be appreciative if someone posted my pic. In some cases it looks, like the guy/gal is still in a couple relationship with the other person (or wishes they were). What do you think, Big turnoff or am I missing something?
NO. I don't believe you can appreciate feeling good unless you have experienced feeling bad. I also believe that the guilt feeling helps us make the right decisions going forward.
This society has become far too pill dependant and lazy. We want to take a pill for everything so we don't have to put time and effort to into doing the right things, making the right choices, and taking care of ourselves.
