Well remember the fights with my brothers for the hidden plastic treasure in a box of cereal.

Snap, Crackle and Pop, the rice crispies characters. Formula 1 cars, Captain Scarlet vehicles are just a few I remember.

Letraset Action Transfers was another popular freebie. Can't post a pic.

Like Bod, I can remember books of Green Shield stamps being used as currency. Usually for cigs when there were not enough coupons to cash in.

Can remember various offers on cereal packets but they'd usually expired before we had consumed the required amount. Usually several tons iirc.

ESSO Football coins for the 1970 World Cup squad springs to mind.
Embassy tokens, although nothing was ever ordered from the catalogue. They were usually cashed in at the local newsagents.
Picture cards from packets of tea.
There must have been other stuff but it's buried in the fog of my mind.
