RE: Paradise

It's Palm Beach near Pidgeon Point . I checked it out as I guessed it would be Tobago wink

I was chatting to you about my visit there and the lovely drive up to the lake with all the little stalls selling spices along the route. Loved it.hug

RE: Paradise

Guess you know it's Tobago. Visited there when on a Caribbean cruise and took a trip to the asphalt lake .

I was chatting to Didi about it some weeks back on the blogs.

Check it out and see the posts on the web with regards this John. Some of the ones I've known and stabled have been very different in their attitudes to different people and also each other actually.

it can also depend on the breed too.

RE: Curtsying in England

Same as the U.K. as Charles is not such a popular figure. They are just figureheads now and we are facing a poverty crisis for some folks as our economy shifts people are becoming more disgruntled .

Gone are the days where Monarchy actually ruled . Economically, it has been, and is, a huge boon for the UK economy, as was experienced under Queen Elizabeth II. On the other hand, its legacy is one borne out of classism and colonisation, two of the ugliest words in the English language and times are changing rapidly it would seem.

Nice chatting to you and hope you are well on the way to better health. hug

RE: Curtsying in England

Who knows Galrads.

The Americans have always respected and even" adored" the Royals especially when Elizabeth was on the throne .This has caused a huge divide and Harry might still be respected in the U.S. but according to rumours Meghan's popularity has shrunk.

You should never bite the hand that fed you.handshake

RE: Money from Governmant for energy

They keep moving the goalposts. If you were born after 1978 it's 67. Also if a U.K resident lives abroad they will get the Pension but not all the extras such as Fuel Allowance etc unless they are already in receipt of it.

RE: Money from Governmant for energy

Not at 55 and I was trying to be polite as you requested.handshake

RE: Curtsying in England

Harry has lost the plot since marrying Meghan .He's cut his nose off to spite his face, complains about the media then makes millions out of dissing his own family. Let's hope she doesn't divorce him in the near future.grin

RE: Money from Governmant for energy

You have to be a Pensioner first and 62 doesn't qualify. The current retirement age in the UK for the state pension is currently 66 for both men and women.

I'm still asking where I have insulted or harassed a member in a post by stating a fact of Law in this country .

It would appear that you are unable to find said post as yet.handshake:

RE: Go Richi

Again I politely ask where I have attacked another member just by pointing out that our Prime Minister is not an immigrant and any one else born in the U.K which includes any family such as her son whom she has already told me was British born.

I'm British born so am far more aware of our laws hence my stating a fact Rishi Sunak is not an immigrant.

RE: Go Richi

Please feel free to point out any insulting comment that I have posted as I thought I was posting a fact regarding British policies.handshake

RE: Go Richi

I'm on a forum that's all Ten and just expressing a fact which you keep ignoring.handshake

RE: Go Richi

Simply put, an immigrant is a person living in a country other than that of his or her birth. No matter if that person has taken the citizenship of the destination country, served in its military, married a native, or has another status—he or she will forever be an international migrant.

Rishi Sunak was born in this country so we do not class him as an immigrant as I and others keep telling you.

If your son was born here then he is a British subject not an immigrant ,unless of course you personally choose to change that.
