RE: Cider and Cheese lunch

Cider is a kind of wine. It is not a kind of beer. Just like wine is made from fermenting grape juice, cider is made from fermenting apple juice. A place for making cider is a “cidery” or a “winery” and it is not a “brewery.” Beer is brewed.

You don't get a head on a glass of wine.
grin

RE: Cider and Cheese lunch

You got an orchard now then?

Any one can make cider it's easy peasy. Why are you talking about CO2 cylinders.?????? It's cider.

RE: Cider and Cheese lunch

Actually Cider should not have a head. If you run your keg with the pressure too high it will foam up, but that won't last very long as cider doesn't have the right chemistry to form a head that lingers.

RE: Cider and Cheese lunch

All beers and ciders should have a small head otherwise the alcohol would be considered flat ,but not a large as shown in the image.

RE: Cider and Cheese lunch

Whomever poured it deffo needs a lesson in bar work that's for sure.

Lot's of things have big heads on them but it should never be a pint.grin

RE: Cider and Cheese lunch

I also know that France and Spain have a market in cider making ,did you.grin

France makes some of the best cider in the World. They've been making it since the 6th. Century.

RE: Expensive lies

They are trying to set a precedent here and call a halt to all the "conspiracy theorists" Would you like it if someone denigrated the murder of your child by calling it a "hoax"?

Oct 12 (Reuters) - Right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones must pay at least $965 million in damages to numerous families of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook mass shooting for falsely claiming they were actors who faked the tragedy, a Connecticut jury said on Wednesday.

Freedom of speech is one thing but make it the truth not a manifestation .

RE: Rishi Sunak the most unpopularPrime Minister

Came back from where. ? I've been here almost 2 years and haven't been anywhere.

Seems you have a problem with dates in more ways than one.

Don't forget it's the 17th November not the 15th Put it in your diary..comfort

RE: Rishi Sunak the most unpopularPrime Minister

Why not? You called me a lot worse when you were Tomcat .

By the way Corrie's on your favourite programme.grin

RE: Rishi Sunak the most unpopularPrime Minister

Go away and sort your dates out as I don't give a fig what think . You will never be able to teach anyone to suck eggs let alone your Grandmother.comfort

RE: Rishi Sunak the most unpopularPrime Minister

Gees it's on the 17th.

The U.K.'s fiscal statement will be delayed to Nov. 17 after it was initially brought forward to Oct. 31

RE: Rishi Sunak the most unpopularPrime Minister

I haven't lost anything I just refuse to discuss things with you as you keep moving your goalposts and seem to be uninformed about politics in general.comfort

Anyway why the concern when you live in Cyprus.confused

RE: Rishi Sunak the most unpopularPrime Minister

Yes I have seen the changes in your politicians too. One does wonder why we elect them in to take care of us and the reverse happens.

I have never seen the U.K in such a state to be honest and yes we can all blame covid and the Ukraine/Russian problems together with the immigration difficulties , but at the end of the day we really should be looking after the people that have lived and supported this country over the years.

I can't recall having seen so much angst and food banks in all my days to be honest.

I really do hope we can get some semblance of balance but asking for a General Election is just going to make matters worse as no-one has faith in anyone at the moment and we could end up with a hung Parliament.sigh
