It's kind of hard to know just what is fact or fiction Ten. While a number of deaths due to the Covid-19 vaccines have been recorded ,vaccination is estimated to have saved a far greater number of lives.
Arguing the toss about this 2 years down the line solves nothing. Each to their own as it's always been a choice not a mandate so what is the problem.
Now the "official" narrative about covid, vaccines and lockdowns is proving to be unreliable, and those professionals who were silenced for speaking out are now free to expose the truth, do you feel disappointed that we have been lied to, blackmailed and coerced into following the government narrative?
You entered this thread so if you have no interest why bother to participate. It's a Forum Tom and it's all out there past and present ,in case you have forgotten.
I asked you an honest question regards Boris, pensions etc and you dodged it as usual so I drew my own conclusions.
No photo ---not looking .It's called respect for my partner.
Well I asked the question because you keep moving the goal posts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
According to posts I've read you were in your 60's over 10 years ago, going to Cyprus for the summer, getting married to a woman with 3 children, spent ages in hospital in a coma ,the list is endless.
I was just hoping for some honesty ,so I'll leave you to carry on living out your fantasy.
Why would you even consider a "bad boy" to run our Government
Are you back in Plymouth or still holidaying in Cyprus.? Wherever you are he could have a huge affect on your Pension which could cause effects in your standard of living.
You can't stay in Cyprus for longer than 90 days and if you actually live there your British pension will be affected with regards increments as will heating allowance benefits etc.
If you are permanently in Cyprus then why are you that concerned about British politics.
Back street Boris in action again. What a creep. Hope Sunak can stick to his guns after what he said when he resigned from Boris's Cabinet in July.
Mr Sunak said “the public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously”, adding: “I believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning.”
This country has seen the inaction of a Tory Government and the chaos that has been caused so it's doubtful they will get a good majority at the next general election to be honest.
There is a petition in Parliament for a General election.
Published in late July, the petition has collected more than 630,000 signatures at time of writing.
The petition’s organiser has accused the government of “arrogantly clinging on to power,” and said that the public are “sick and tired of not having a say”.
Let's take a look at the latest Tory leadership odds to replace Truss and be the Conservative Party Leader, and as a result, the next UK Prime Minister.
Candidate U.S Odds UK Odds Implied Probability Rishi Sunak -120 5/6 54.56% Penny Mordaunt +150 6/4 40% Ben Wallace +1000 10/1 9.09% Boris Johnson +1000 10/1 9.09% Kemi Badenoch +3300 33/1 2.94% Grant Shapps +4000 40/1 2.44% Sajid Javid +5000 50/1 1.96% Michael Gove +5000 50/1 1.96% Suella Braverman +5000 50/1 1.96% Theresa May +5000 50/1 1.96%
Basically speaking there are 2 major parties Labour and Conservative ,but there are a few others as below who were successful in the 2019 General Elections.
Alliance Party Co-operative Party Democratic Unionist Party Green Party Liberal Democrats Plaid Cymru Scottish National Party Sinn Féin Social Democratic and Labour Party
Anyone taking over from Boris was in for a rough ride . 2 years of covid ,now a high cost of living possibly due to the war in Ukraine ,so trying to balance the books was never going to be easy. You can't come into Government and hack your way through our finances without upsetting the balance .Mortgage rates are at their highest for over 14 years ,the cost of living has hit an all time high ,and many well established organisations are coming out on strike furthering the problem. It's a mess with no-one in the driving seat .
Hopefully we can get back to some sense of normality but if there continues be dissent within the Government then it could be possible we will have to go to a General Election ,though it's highly unlikely.
More than 662,000 people had already signed a petition on the Parliamentary website by Thursday afternoon calling for an election.
This will be our third Prime minister in the past 2 months.
That's rubbish . If that was the case we would have been out of this mess a long time ago. All we do is elect them in then hope that their election promises come up to scratch ,which has not been happening of late.
