Now that's more like it as i can see the potential especially near what appears to be a vast lake. Permission to turn it into holiday homes or something similar and bob's your uncle.
Just as a point of interest that would be St. Drogo. Reputedly the patron Saint of coffee too but hardly likely in the 12th Century. History lesson over.
Age is just a number at the end of the day and how you approach old age is down to one person. Yourself.
Being mindful of your health and well being, and exercising the body and the brain is also important. Too many people when they hit retirement become couch potatoes. It's not about what happens to you as you get older it's having the mindset to be able to deal with it.
I'm rather sick of many on here who seem to think that the passing of an elderly lady who was greatly loved and admired across the World , whether Royalty or not, is an excuse to dish the dirt that has been plastered across this and many websites .
There's a time and a place for everything but not when people are in mourning surely.. Isn't that a tad disrespectful.
"You have a right to free speech, only if you say what we like.."
That is your take on Freedom of Speech in the UK
I made the comparison of the non use of severe violence as against Russia's take on freedom of speech which surely is comparable, but obviously not in your eyes apparently as you do so love to stick it to us Brits at every opportunity.
Bit like your favourite country Russia then but without the violence.
Mornin' Tiger.. Of course Ireland is my favourite country dear.. And we here in Ireland know all about the British attitude to "Freedom of speech" sure I remember censorship being used here agains't the opposition amonst othere deeds like collusion and assinations, but we don't want to be talkin' about that..
Northern Ireland, the BBC, and Censorship in Thatcher's Britain
Not like ye to avoid an issue ,but typical to bounce it all back on the U.K. as usual.
Bit like your favourite country Russia then but without the violence.
"Excessive use of force
The briefing also details the excessive use of force by police officers, who have been documented using martial arts techniques against protesters, battering them mercilessly with batons and, beginning this year, stunning them with electroshock weapons.
Despite widespread public outcry over cases of excessive use of force by the police, like the January 2021 case of Margarita Yudina β a peaceful protester who ended up in an intensive care unit after being kicked in the stomach by a riot police officer β the authorities either do not take action to investigate and bring suspected perpetrators to justice, or they manifestly derail such investigations, which reinforces the climate of impunity.
βIt sends a clear signal to the police force that any excesses are tolerable, that violence is encouraged, and full impunity guaranteed "
