No you didn't do the upsetting Yash. It is simply a matter of very different likes and preferences in terms of subject matter. You cannot be responsible for how the other person, in this case, monte, responds. You were not to know.
Not a good idea to beat yourself up over something you have no control, someone's else's reaction. We are not on this earth (least of all CS!!) to set about pleasing everyone.
You were meant to be there for her that day, tarnsnz. Some people leave a lifelong impression, such as that wonderful woman. makes you wonder how able bodied people can do so much moaning and groaning, when you come across special people such as that special old lady. Well done to you, though I can understand how hard it must have been to see her leave in that way. When the day comes for her to leave this world, she will do so knowing she has squeezed every drop of life out of this planet. She has also given something to you, quite obviously.
photos are a frozen moment in digital time...And we all have our moments, depending on how we feel at the time (and who we might be thinking about,lol)...but ta, you know how to embarrass a gal
I read 'The Philosopher and the Wolf' after buying it 'blind' at the airport bookshop in Amsterdam. It was one of the best reads of my life.
That's appalling. It's not as if insurance companies don't have healthy coffers, given that most people rarely if ever make a claim, yet always paying out premiums.
No company will touch it unless there is written permission from council, or if legislation changes, then that's different. it's a beast of a tree, though the lorikeets love it, but they can just go find another one. Plenty are other river reds around...
Just want to let you know that at least one person here(besides RDM,lol)isn't offended by that website. Personally, I think budoir photos are a fabulous gift for a woman to give her man, as well as a gift to herself.
That's great, daggy, though I expect that didn't happen overnight. It takes time to get to that point. I know that's the case with many businesses that start from scratch, but some more than others.
That's the sweetest thing, that you're trying so hard to solve the interim financial side of things so that you can support her until she gets on her feet here. She is in good hands.
Well done with your web design venture. Sure is a huge need out there, with many companies seeking good web designers. All the best, you will do well.
I have a sixt foot river red gum only 5m from my house. I want to get rid of it(no, I didn't plant it!) as it's dangerous in every which way. Yet it is deemned a significant tree under current legislation, as it is wider than 2m diameter yadda yadda...before I can get it cut down I need to seek council permission, before than get a madly expensive arborist's report costing about $700, then council application fee, then await their decision.
Turns out the laws might change any tick of the clock and I may not need to go down this road, just get it cut down, which in itself will cost me about $2,300, lowest quote, more if I want them to dispose of the wood(wood chips I can keep for mulch).
Our laws don't make it easy sometimes, to keep lives and properties safe.
I have no idea where the controlled burning started, whether it was deemed a safe enough distance away from the houses, but as others have noted, why not do this in cooler weather and without the strong northerly winds.
Now if it had been an arsonist, police would be hunting them down.
My thoughts go out to all residents affected by these fires which apparently started after commencement of controlled burning, now completely out of control
Depends largely on your experience, as to which way you're predisposed to viewing the world....
Such as the kind of dog you have or come in contact with. I currently share my house with a border collie cross, so I talk of highly intelligent genes, as well as withstanding intense cold genes...as for humans, because of my work, I have people ask if depression is a genetic disorder, or if schizophrenia 'runs in the family'...
Hi Martia, thank you. Nice to see you. I will be around on and off. Another big project ahead, so will play it by ear. Like you and a couple of others here, I tend to say it like it is. some people get bothered by that and take it as being abusive towards them. I've even been accused as being the cause of jimbob leaving CS.
How fabulous to be able to work so closely with such gorgeous creatures...horses! (sigh, swoon...)...Sounds interesting. Genetics is a fascinating field, especially now that scientists have cracked the DNA codes.
It was overdone...cooked. Submitted a day late; lots of procrastinating, then once I started writing I couldn't stop - then had to madly cut back with rushed edit....not a good idea to upset your supervisor
Oh, heck, Nuliiiiiii...I'm betting that a section of the male population might have completed the blanks to make a very different word...Though I figure that group might have gone on to become gynae's

Gawd, Lookin...I'm about to have breakfast!!...
