Unless you want to be regarded as a scammer(please read CS rules etc), you would do well not to write a yahoo address. If you do, we will assume you are a scammer until proven otherwise, which means if you are a real and genuine person, you will be doing yourself a disservice.

It is always advised to ask people to email you at CS mail.

p.s. and it found medium level spyware last week and got rid of it for me...though I keep losing the yahoo security logo ID thingy I create. the longest it's lasted is about a day.most times only an hour. It's been like this forever!

Microsoft Security Essentials has all you need for up to date anti spy and antivirus software in one. it's free to d/l from Microsoft under the 'downloads' tab, then go to 'security'. An IT pal put me onto it. Microsoft have a real interest in keeping their stuff debugged after all.

It's under the heading 'Compatability quizzes' at the top on the menu. But there's no easy way of finding any one in particular other than trudging through them all. That's why I posted the link.

Maybe Lookin will find interest in lots of other compatability quizzes...we might not see him for years now.

Close CS. Check the same site. Then open CS again and see if it is there. If not, it is something on CS that might be latching onto your IP address and 'reading' everything you/we type.

lol..I was referring to the academic recitation of existentialist retoric.

No, nothing so interesting as Satr's biography was part of the course. I came across the book many years later after I'd been married and divorced. I have collected a few biographies and some autobiographies, such as one written by Mahatma Gandhi himself. I had no idea he got married at the grand age of 11years!!


p.s. yes, being married to a Satre like man was one of the most surreal times I expect I will ever experience. Probably part of the reason why I have been on my own since then. It's lasted me a lifetime!

Sorry, AA, but existentialism leaves me cold. It's many moons since Philosophy 1 and have no intention of revisiting it to the level of being able to quote anything to you. I care nothing of pretending to know about subjects I know nothing about. I even stopped reading a biography on Satre as it was too eerily close to the life I led in my marriage to a then, composer of modern orchestral music.

What reading appeals to you most?

That would be a lovely book to read for the reason described...that it transports you to the Tibetan world. it would be good to look at the style of writing used. No doubt very different from any westerner. Thanks.

Wow, I'd like to see this movie. Will look up if it's showing in Adelaide or on dvd. Thanks, AA. No mention of it being based on any book-I had wondered.

p.s. We're not talking about being hosted by someone. I agree with you, that if you're a guest in someone's home and the other person is the host, I think it's important to respect these positions (there is always the exception, but we're not talking about these, I know).
