I had forgotten that I'd created a compatibility quizz ages ago, so I was flipping through my profile, deleting this and that, and found it again.
I sent a couple of flowers as courtesy for completing the quizz(one was abit older than my son, so yes, purely courtesy!lol). The other fellow replied instantly(who does that??)...from the brief interchange, another scammer methinks, as he gave me his yahoo addy to send me his photo. Ummm....no!!
It is not religion as such that is the problem, but how individuals choosed to interpret the 'teachings'.
There are many organisations across the globe that show love in action. One which immediately comes to mind is the Catholic Worker organistion, based in New York, New York. Their founders I think were Dorothy Day and Peter Marin. I know Dorothy is definitely deceased, not sure of Peter. They have the 'House of Hospitality' plus various farm co-ops, all to help the poor and needy of America. They don't preach. They just do.
Hi J. There is fabulous about stepping on dried leaves and roots as you hike up a trail. It wakens all the senses, the crackling underfoot, the scent of the oils released, and the different hues of colour, usually a mix of browns.
Here, it's likely to release the scent of eucaplypt as most native bracken tends to be mainly gum leaves. I have a couple of photos of dried gum leaves with a white butterfly resting on one...I took it about 3 years ago on one such hike. Might go this morning up to Morialta National Park which has a waterfall that should be at its best right now with all our recent rain.
Gee, this takes me back...I remember going to see the movie, 'To Sir with Love' after reading the book as part of our high school English Curriculum. I took my father with me. Boy, Sidney Poitier just lights up that screen...thanks for posting this, J.
p.s. I teach others every day, to say what is on their mind and to verbalise how they feel. That includes men, and guess what? Their life changes for the better and they thank me. You should try it one day.
The best kind of cooking, tony. ...I often make a large pot of yummy soup which lasts me over a week, so that I always have some to warm up for a light meal while it's been so cold.
Apart from the fabulous Thai and Indian curries we can concoct these days.
I am every bit the opposite. I feel compelled to say what's on my mind and how I feel. It is all part of open communication. Otherwise, we are just wasting precious time, and time is not to be wasted.JMO
It's not that absurd, Leigh. One of the richest men in Australia, boasts about paying only $35.00 in tax one year in recent times. He has an army of accountants of-course, and because of his businesses, is able to claim for every last tiny item. But he turns over millions of dollars a year. It stinks, but it's all perfectly legal.

no chilli, and minimal spices. Some kind of seed, but I think she loved them. Thanks.
