RE: The One Eyed General

Oddster, why are they breeding like rabbits? You don't find that irresponsible if it's a consentration camp ? Tiny strip, no work to be found, no future, locked on all sides etc. Would you have 6 children under such circumstances?

And, why is Egypt so withdrawn? Are they not the same blood; Arabs?
Can you lay this out for us. I'd like to see who else is guilty here besides Jews, you see.
Was not Gaza better run when Jews ran it? So why is it so important for these Arabs to have their own state when in fact it's much, much better to live in Israel.

RE: What do you think about public media censorship?

No, you would break the world record and end in Guinnes if you attempted that stunt...lol

I don't think insanity will prevail. Only for a limited amount of time, you see.

cheers

RE: Who do you think Jesus Christ is ?

Stop this lack of logic. Next we'll have a burning hell where you'll be punished in pain and agony for an eternity.
That is fake news as well.
However, if you don't make it to eternal life in some heaven, you WILL be dead for ever. Which is pretty bad too. That is the truth of it.

RE: Who do you think Jesus Christ is ?

nahh, i think not

RE: Who do you think Jesus Christ is ?

Trick, shee.. (typical spelloe of mine)
So mister what is this God = Jesus thingy? Is that stll the officiale tale?
I never liked that. Let the two be two. Makes his life on earth a tad more understandable.

RE: Who do you think Jesus Christ is ?

Son of God is not an option, how come. Seems a truck question this one..

RE: What do you think about public media censorship?

Agree, but I am more optimistic than you. Something can be done about it.

RE: To all the Girls/Boys I've loved before....

Have you just lost a bf or something?

Is gaza juden rein? While a million arabs work and have a good life in Israel... okay..
Responsible is Hamas who refuse to make peace with Israel, and it would be so easy too.
That train has left for now though.

RE: Just a bit of fun to find out what other areas call stores and services--

It's actually a little video in there as well roh, if it plays in your country.

RE: Just a bit of fun to find out what other areas call stores and services--

I gotta mention this money machine:

A burger shop strategically place next to a Shell out westbund highway from Oslo.
They open at 10am and close at midnight, 365 days a year.
They own the tiny house themselves, no rent.
Here is the genius at play:
The simplicity! One burger size fit all and stack two on top of each other if you want a double'.
And then they take one large spoon of a salad-souce mix patented in 1982, still the same today.
Want cheese on it or perhaps the pineapple ring? (hawaii) will that is your options... only.
It's so simple it's unbeliveable and there is always a que there... whole day through!

It's called Texburger and it's run by one pakistan family, whom by now are multimillionares :)

According to this article (and photos too) they sell 1000 burgers a day.... lol

RE: Science proves kids are bad for Earth. Morality suggests we stop having them.

On topic, YES I'm all for redux!
Like Bill Burr been on about from stage for some time now.
Lets get 'er down to a 100 million worldwide.... that would solve a lot.

Only, it will take ..hmm.... 8-900 years if we start now... laugh

No, what I hear is we ADD 80 mill annually. I see no end, sorry to say.

RE: Science proves kids are bad for Earth. Morality suggests we stop having them.

DL, for what it's worth- considering what you must have been through
I think you turned out pretty ok.
I like you. If you were not a good man, well your straight shots would hurt! I've yet to see you go after anybody nasty. You be you.

RE: Growing Numbers Of American Volunteers Wounded In Ukraine Treated At US Army Hospital In Germany

Jimmy Dore, just as outspoken as always, this time at the UN headquarters in New York.
(videolink thou, but never the less- at the UN roundtable!)
Well done mister Comedian/Youtuber.

This is the truth (about Ukraine) summoned up, if anybody cares around here.

RE: Growing Numbers Of American Volunteers Wounded In Ukraine Treated At US Army Hospital In Germany

Agree. And I base that on the info that has reached me through different uploaders, and different experts. Plus my own logic and motivations on boths sides.
1/3 of Ukraina was and still is Russian descendants. It's their safety Putin is there for (plus pushing Nato back). This also why he is in no need to take more than the south-eastern part. For 'his' people.
This was easy to understand regarding Jugoslavia, why so hard to get here?

Damn yday I watched another Jeffrey Sachs video (below)
I didn't know a peace agreement was actually reached
shortly after the outbeak last year! Crazy.
I trust Jeffrey Sachs a 100% as he's been involved with peace making between
east and west since 1989.

RE: Still misunderstood by many, do guns shoot people?

Rite.

RE: Still misunderstood by many, do guns shoot people?

Okay so let me budge out of this by declearing that what I'm attempting to do is say two opposing things at once: the guns that sometimes kill too many too rapidly cos a loonie got hold of one is unfortunately needed.
As always was the case in the wild west. Gotta keep tham for all time now.
Second amendment thereby stands solid. Don't mess with it!

Clearer?

RE: Still misunderstood by many, do guns shoot people?

In the States I understand the need for the 2.
I also think it was right to free Kyle Rittenhouse.
So yes, whatever needs to be needs to be, to keep us free.
Just sayin' I don't love them (but understand it's needed).

RE: Still misunderstood by many, do guns shoot people?

What you mean by this post. Make it clear as daylight will you.
A woman killed a man in a bad-baad way with here car you say?
And what does that prove towards guns-
"Do they kill" more or is it the same in any knife-only country. What say you?

Agree in the portential darkness that can pop up in most of us
when under some pressure.

RE: Still misunderstood by many, do guns shoot people?

Right, and Ozzy Osbourne wrote song "thank God for the bomb",
along the same lines.

Still, there are unwanted side effects.

RE: Still misunderstood by many, do guns shoot people?

Yea, so I do suspect tjere are some killings that would not have accoured here in my gunfree land then. Meaning there is more deaths when that 'tool' is around, as my theory is that pulling a trigger is easier than shuffing a knife into somebody, espcially if fear or rage is involved. I just have that feeling. Dunnu, I'm just glad there is few of them here.

Not judging though, I understand where this situation came from.

RE: Still misunderstood by many, do guns shoot people?

I cant help but feeling that "lots of guns around" makes the accesss seem a bit too easy (in ones mind) when a person with a mental condition has a bad day you know, 1 + 1 = 2 and all that. But on the other hand, perhaps those guns are not so easily available as I imagine them to be, 'ova there'? Here hardly anyone has a gun at home, I know nobody.

RE: Still misunderstood by many, do guns shoot people?

Well my friend, I can't like guns myself very much. It's kinda like nukes, who can love them?
I remember when I did my obligatoric 12 months army service at age 20 and got my/our/the AG3 in hands... it really felt wrong! I knew what it was for... so to speak.

It proved not long after however that I was one of the best sniper shots in the platoon.
Target shooting was therefore rewarding as long as I kept my head of what it was meant for. To aim at a live head would make me womit I think.

The vikings used swords. I think that somehow was more of a gentleman weapon... confused
Though Skarpehedin (son of Njål) mostly used an axe only laugh

Nite out 00:54 here wave

RE: Still misunderstood by many, do guns shoot people?

Well there s plenty kitchen knives around
and few who end up with one in the back.
So that support your thinking.

Criminals will kill with any type of weapon or no weapon at all.
That also support your second amendment type of view.

Thirdly, here in relatively peaceful Norway (sure, exceptions has happened)
we have plenty guns I've heard, just like in Canada.
A lot for hunting and the rest for the home guard folk. We still have those.
That also support a pro gun argument.

And lastly we need them when they have them, the criminals that is.

-

With all that said, could killing under certain cercumstances prove a tad easier
with a fire arm, as it makes a pshycological distance
between the aggressor and the victim (..?)
Has this been studied?

tip hat

RE: Why does goodness always lag behind badness?

A soulmate if you come aross one should most likely not be your partner.

No mistery, no room for play. And you might be shocked by too much honesty or bored after emptying out every thought on each other the first week.
Basically a soulmate is not very suitable as a partner.
