But what I wonder about fundamentally is, what is best now-
to tell these folk "listen damnint, now you talk within your group and bring forward your best and most reasonable people who in no shape or form will run Irans errand no more and we, Israel will help you build up your land again and make a nation that will be rigid too." .... or "you can go on like before poor you people, we will continue to send container after container with aid and no demands, you can keep your Iran support and holy wars and leaders in Doha too"
I think it can get worse for them than in the last 18 years, actually. Unless if they wise up now. They can do it.
I understand you feel for the underdog John, with your background and personal experiences, but I have one final question for you or anybody else here on this thread:
Do you seriously not see no need to demand something from the Palestinians here... we as a world community should just continue to buy into this victim story and never ask them to get a grip inside their own lines? We can seriously not ask the adults there to hold back their own youth with machine guns and rockets in the name of building a better future for all No?
Well, sure. Could be the Israelis, at least after oct.7th, been too heavy handed on the W.B. not ruling that out. However, they been not present on Gaza in the 18 last years but that didn't help on the security: still 1200 slaughtered targeted civilians in one day, out of the clear blue sky. So I don't know. But I do now the people on Gaza need new leaders. Good ones. Then West Bank later John.
I can tell you though, if Israel get abselutely nowhere with this campaign the suffering Palestinians in Gaza is in worse trouble than before. Cos then I guess Israel will like in 2005 just give the place up and build a fortess around it that is so completely impenetrable that even the North/South Korean border is easier to jump. You see, another oct.7th will not be allowed. Trust me on that one.
Agree on these two at least, plenty funds and great potential. Gaza can be super duper if only somebody with the right attiude take charge. They will have to be solution oriented and peaceful.
Eh... Len, can I ask you do you think a two state solution is possible? What does it take to get there you recon.
Would a one state solution be ok in your eyes (basically all the Palestinians live in a big Israel).
Me think a two state solution is still possible if the Palst side grows up fast, but if they fail to grab this chance it is not unlikely to me if a one state solution eventually will remain as the only real alternative. So I would encourage the Palsts to hurry up here while it's still on the table, the best way out for them: a two state solution. The chance is now, soon.
Ok you asked for it: I do think the whole nation is terrorists. And the water was from wells in Gaza that Hamas dug up with international money funds, but then Israel bombed the wells out of spite and many children became sick. lol

Isreal been too nice too long. That is the problem and now they have to pay for that. I have nothing else for you and hope you are finished with me too, cos this is low.
There is no Israelian occupation. Nowhere. That's a lie.
The nearest one could say is calling it 'apartheid looking' tendencies in parts of the west bank, though even that is a strech. But here is the good news: any sign of apartheid will be lifted as soon as unfriendly Palestinians lay down weapons, accept Israel as a state and in general start behaving as responsible adults.
So there is good hope here. Very easily fixed actually, if only people like you can start putting some pressure on them Palestinains to cut all bonds to hostile Arab countries like Iran and straighten out their own young boot boys a la Hamas, now.
Lol Did Israel leave Gaza behind in 2005? Do you personally believe things might get better for the Palsetinians if they start being just a litte bit more friendly to Israel? And why are Amnesty saying nothing about Iranian influence on motivation of the young boys of Palestine (in lack of a more precise term) to continue their organized crime that even their parents at home has no saying over.
No until Gaza/West Bank write a decrete that Israel is now a friend not a foe I can understand Israel needs to keep this stuff inder control. Still... despite this.... Oct.7 happened. Does that tell you something?
Sounds good to me. Like Ukraine they should not have no army. Lay down weapons.
Just trust Israel. Let them have overrule of the area and you will have just about enough self governance to call it a state still. Iceland, Costa Rica and Andorra has no military neither, to name a few.
I know, it sucks. But keep in mind this been going on at least 18 years. This is Isreal trying to bring about a lasting change.
If they give up, the isolation in form of walls, barbed wires and a closed off harbour will intensífy, not slacken which is what we all hope for here. Gaza can be great given a firm helping hand but demands must be raised to them this time. This Hamas misrule can not go on no more. The people musttake control of their own future. Is that possible? It least give it one chance before isolating them worse than before. U see Egypt will not save them. Best Gaza can do now is select Israel friendly rulers. I really do hope so can happen.
No, you're wrong. Completely wrong too. Right about Ukraine but wrong here.
Why don't youb trust Tel Aviv, tell me straight out what you see as problem with them Israelis. I'll be watching your answer very carefully, please don't disappont now. Have Jews been a problem in your life before or something. What seems to be the problem?
Here is a smart thing to do when in doubt: look more at actions than words. I did the same with Trump and him I love. He did so many good things you know, but not always so balanced in every speach, have to admit that. Besides, who has not by now learned the Knesset has wings.
It will be rebuilt, I'm sure even Elon Musk will personally pitch in. What worries me is the possibility that at the end of the day Hamas may still be speaking on behalf of this supressed population. If so Israel been too weak on them gazenians, not to heavy. That would be the worst outcome.
That is weak, to put it nicely. Ethnic cleansing of Gaza? That would be very easy. 8th of october and til today. You know why that would be easy? Cos there are now Jews in Gaza. It's ethnic clean aleready. Juden-rein. So you could just carpet bomb the whole area without chosing targets even. And about 2.2 out of 2.3 million would be dead now. That is what the Palestinians would have done if the situation was reversed by the way be sure of that.
Israel is not ethnic cleansing nothing, unless if you claim Hamas is a race.
Best pizza I ever tasted was in gran canaria downstars in a hotel next to the pool. By some italians, flat and open flame.
Ever tried Renault xo Cognac? Two of those taxfree ones went around the bus from the airport on a chartertrip to Bulgaria once. Yes it was a rather funny bunny holiday.
