Really? I guess these days I would, too, but I was always a registered independent until the Romney election. I would vote for anyone who I thought could get the job done - but these days the differences in the parties are so stark, I will stay republican.
I think Rubio would make an excellent president as he is not only very smart, but he's proven to be able to work across the aisle. He also loves this country and has great compassion. But again, like so many others he is running behind Trumpie
It is said that if Kennedy were alive today he would be considered a republican. "Ask not what your country can do for you, but for what you can do for your country." This is DECIDEDLY republican as liberals are all about what comes free to them.
Now if you're basing the qualifications on the appeal of the wives, Trumpie wins again.
I fell off a roof when I was in kindergarten and broke my wrist. I don't remember getting into trouble for being on the roof, which could have been deadly - but when I tried to sneak up to the pool to swim (which wasn't allowed because of the cast), my mom caught me halfway up the street and tanned my hide.
I don't understand the Romney relevance to this thread, but it just so happens Romney was right about the 47% (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/15/rob-woodall-mitt-romney_n_3084013.html) From Huffington Post, of all places.
He was also right about Russia, Syria, Obamacare, the military, congress and even illegal immigration - while Obama has been proven DEAD WRONG.
Just think how much better off we would be today had he won the election
More on Democrat fear tactics: Who hasn't heard that Republicans want to cut Social Security and throw Granny from the train? Or that they want to kick old people out of their homes. Or that they want dirty drinking water? Or that if they win African Americans will be lynched. They have claimed Republicans want to cut the school lunch program and want your kids to starve. The list goes on and on.
