The president's Libya cover-up has been blown all over the airwaves today, Dude. Turns out HUNDREDS of Washington officials were informed of the TERRORIST attack within two hours after it begun. Hillary also requested Libya allow them to enter their air space but nobody is saying what our "friends" in Libya said about permission.
All we know is that the KNEW - and nothing was done. The guys on the roof were there for HOURS fighting for their lives. There was blood all over their weapons indicating they fought even after they were mortally wounded.
You really should attend one of my local republican meetings, Dude. You would see that everyone there are simple Americans, mostly farmers and mill workers...moms and pops...salt of the earth.
No it doesn't - but when it is allowed to continue year after year and generation after generation, one has to wonder just who "the people" really are? Surely their upbringing shapes there perceptions the same as it does anywhere else in the world?
Oh yes - and he would tell you the exact same thing. It's a shame. One screwed up country right now, but maybe some day something big will happen so that they can live in peace.
I worked for an Iranian gentleman for many years, Cloud, and he was one of the most remarkable men I've ever met. We are still in touch after all these years and I remain his biggest fan.
Sadly, since his father worked directly for the Shaw, so he and his family are now black-listed and can never return to their country.
You can color it any way you want, but you cannot disguise the fact that it currently is one SICK country.
These days I just assume everyone is a scammer until I'm proven wrong. I still talk to everyone and keep an open mind, but until I've seen them with my own itty bitty eyes, I don't say anything that I wouldn't mind being published.
Here's a sad commentary of the state of affairs under barack Obama.
"In a decade, federal spending to pay for the interest on America's debt will exceed total spending on the defense budget by $125 billion, or 20 percent, according to projections from the Congressional Budget Office and the Office of Budget Management. The projections are based on President Barack Obama's current budget plan."
In 2022, under Obama's budget, national defense spending will be $618 billion per year, while net interest payments will be $743 billion.
In fact, the interest payments are likely to be even higher, since these assumptions are based on the historically low interest rates remaining the same (which is not likely over the course of the next decade). "If interest rates rise just one percentage point above baseline projections, the government would pay an additional $1 trillion in interest payments over ten years," the Republican side of the Senate Budget Committee comments.
In the meantime (while we wait for the Donald), this little reminder needs to be posted again and again for every voter who still thinks our problems stem from Republican policies.
"For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this:
January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress. FIFTEEN months (that's a year and three months) before the "CRISIS" began...
At the time: The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77 The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5% The Unemployment rate was 4.6% George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB GROWTH
Remember the day... January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy? BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!
Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy.
And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie? OBAMA and the Democrat Congress.
Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party.
Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 & 2011.
In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.
For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.
And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.
If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.
If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.
Chris Matthews said much the same thing immediately fllowing the debate. To paraphrase, he said if he had been dropped in during the middle of the debate knowing nothing, he would have said that Romney was the president while Obama was the challenger.
The first Rasmussen poll post debate is out. It only includes one third sampling after the last debate - but here are the results...
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 50% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 46%. Two percent (2%) prefers some other candidate, and two percent (2%) are undecided.
This is the second straight day with Romney enjoying a 4-point advantage.
Morning Monte. I don't understand the food stamp program at all, other than to know there is a TON of fraud in it. I have a friend who has bunches of rentals and every day someone is coming in trying to sell their food stamp cards so they can get cash for drugs, alcohol or whatever.
And there you are seriously needing the darn things and they decline you??? Have you tried again? Maybe you should take the money out of the bank and then go apply?
Morning ttom. Not much so far. We are waiting to hear The Donald's bit announcement today, and I hear Gloria Alred has her own october surprise. Should be interesting in the "yellow journalism" sort of way.
Otherwise, ex-CIA chief says Romney right about Iran/Obama wrong.
RE: THE President Actually! Preisdent Obama or President Romney?
Morning Conrad.I know Dude is a lost cause, but it doesn't hurt to correct his misinformation so that other's get a chance to judge for themselves.
Speaking of which..
