England threatened to be punished if they wore armbands supporting gays & lesbians & Iran refusing to sing their national anthem due to their own problems with woman's rights . You’re there to play football, not to push any political agenda.
Qatar has been criticised for staging the World Cup because of its human rights issues & for the corrupt way it gain the World Cup . Let me tell you , there have been 8 other venues with similar issues , yet their morality has never been questioned, even in the last tournament where Russia were the hosts . And on the corrupt why they achieved the staging…. I guess money talks & FIFA are a corrupt organisation, it’s just that Qatar used their extreme wealth to bribe them more than the other nations .
I have to disagree . The USA have evolved in football terms & have some good players playing in top leagues in Europe. I think they will give England a good run for their money . Nevertheless, I can’t see the winners coming from that group .
