A friend of mine's partner got him a trip up in a helicopter to take photo's a couple of years ago, and another got a day at the race track, a few laps in a sports car round the track..

My motto is "If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it." they say the air fryer doesn't fry, yet the food tastes as good as if it was That's what I don't get, a few on here have said they are good also..

I would hate the thoughts of no spuds, in moderation of course.. I make chips/crisps with the sweet ones too, just a drop of olive oil some sea salt pepper and do them slow in the oven..

Don't ya know every day is potato day in Ireland.. Just thought I would pass my thoughts on the humble vegetable here as I wait for my soup

Potato & Leek Soup is a classic!

Nothing better on a chilly day (Except for a nice warm partner to cuddle up to) and so easy to make

No need for cream to make this soup creamy! Just blend the cooked soup with an immersion blender or standing blender until thick and smooth. Yukon gold potatoes will produce an especially creamy texture. If you would like your soup to be a little chunky, only purée half of it.

Here's all you need..

2 carrots; 2 sticks of celery; 2 medium onions; 2 cloves of garlic; 400 g leeks; 400 g potatoes; olive oil; 2 organic chicken or vegetable stock cubes.
35 mins and you will have a hug in a bowl
