I'm as likely to climb into bed with a man friend as with a woman one, i.e. not going to happen. Friends is friends.
The ideal is when the passion starts to burn away you find you still really enjoy each other's company? Those seem to be the best marriages, anyway. Physically comfortable together and mentally in sync. But they are super rare.
If you want to meet someone whose home language is English, two things - no need to put a capital letter on every word. In fact, don't. And "wanna" is an Americanism for "want a" so wanna a - no.
Well yup, so long as we're talking tumble not fumble. Sometimes the anticipation is almost more fun and you can't build up much anticipation that often?
The poll set-up is weird, I did vote, but no votes showing - then I went into the breakdown and aha, 7 votes. But one for each. So far no trend is developing
Nearly every government in the richer parts of the world is in a panic because the birthrate is dropping. Nearly every government in Europe is encouraging immigrants to flood in to make up the shortfall because people are living longer and fewer babies are being born and who is going to pay for the support of the geriatric population in the years to come?
Not the wealthy, for sure. If you're rich, you don't have to pay taxes. You've hugely supported that in other posts.
Not the children and grandchildren because, oops, there aren't enough of them.
So ...
The US birthrate has dropped to its lowest point ever. The Chinese birthrate is at its lowest in 7 decades, despite China scrapping their 1 child rule 20 years ago. Africa IS pumping out kids at a higher rate, and their chances of surviving infancy are going up, but most countries are anxiously trying for more children because whoooo, long term is going to be a problem. Human life started in Africa, how ironic if it is to end there too.
A more efficient covid, one that wipes out much higher percentages of the infirm and the over 70s, is probably the only solution.
And hey, one other quibble, "Science" is not an entity. What any one scientist says, another will almost immediately disprove. There is only scientific theory, based on opinion, tested where possible, and while many theories are generally accepted as fact, by nearly all scientists, "science" is in a constant state of flux. So really what you should have said is "one scientific theory" holds there are too many children while another will promptly respond "there are too many low-class children and not enough middle-class and not nearly enough actual movers and shakers", while another insists more, more and even more are required.
Which country? The amount quoted is $ but Zimbabwean $, for one example, rather different value to US $
The story does sound a bit skewed, the implication of abandoned is "left to fend for herself" but instead she was obviously handed over to her aunt to be raised as a member of that family instead. Also saying she used "her savings" to buy her cousin - presumably she considers her sibling - an apartment, sounds like she has very little money. Hmmm. I doubt she'd have spent her only pennies on the cousin, so maybe she has a place herself, and enough left over to be generous, and enough for her biological family to think they could get a slice of the pie.
So a few more details, for a real debate about something which is none of our business anyway, would be nice, haha.
How irritating it is when young people mump around wasting their youth and energy, and middle-aged people start saying they are old. And how much there is left to explore and learn and enjoy while now the clock is ticking and who knows when it will strike.
Thought at first you meant friendship but damned if I know where I could sell my friends although worth their weight in gold so if there IS a market, please let me know, there's one big enough to fund the rest of my life I'll miss him but hey ...
I can't imagine anything worse than being young with what I know now. I couldn't go through some of it twice, for starters ... really impressed though with so much positivity in the answers so far.
No, there will be no returning to life as it was. Some of the few good things that came out of restrictions and lockdowns are being cast aside, and some of the bad things seem to be outlasting their welcome and we have all become not only obsessed with disaster but addicted to it and will want more, and more, and more. We are also encouraged to believe our leaders are useless and to criticize everything they do without even considering possible merit or logic in their actions, and when their critics take power and then are bombarded with the same flak we head towards anarchy and mob rule. I'm as glad I don't have too much future to cope with.
I like horses ... sometimes it does come down to not even noticing what they look like because the connection is instant and good. I do notice people are most comfortable with someone who looks like someone they liked very much when they were very young.
RE: Is There Anyone Really Looking For Friendship Which Can Be Serious Some Day?

BTW the polls no longer seem to regiser votes.
