Personally, I love the metro look... but as long as the man in question smells good and is well taken care of, I don't really care. Oh, except not the rugged look...doesn't do much for me. Usually...never say never...
when my son was younger, it would be after the engagement. Kids have a tendency to attach themselves to someone and when that someone goes away, it kills them more than it ever killed us.
Now that he is older, he wants to meet the man before I ever do
If they are doing things for themselves, like taking their medication, therapy, and just trying to get through life the best way they know how, that is fine. The ones that I leave behind (and I will get my a@@ chewed for this) are the alcoholics who sit in their world and feel sorry for themselves. My ex was an alcoholic and no one was right but him. He was perfect and everyone else was to blame for his problems. I, unfortunatley had first hand experience with an alcoholic mind, and never want to go back to that. It was pure hell. If the man is doing everything he can to the best of his ability, then it's okay.
sounds like we are going through a bit of the same thing. Feels good to be able to walk on your hind legs doesn't it? I haven't been able to do that for the last few weeks until today....My doctor rocks!!!
beautiful poem.....for me, love creeps in, slithers around a bit, then attaches itself and I just can't seem to shake it. Kind of creepy, but then love is in a way anyway, if you think about it. It's a strange thing.
