RE: Should you pay???

Yeah, Russia is the cause of all evil in this world.
Itis beginning to sound ridiculous even to the Russian haters.
The elephant in the room is too big to be dismissed, me thinks...
Approximately 10% of the Earth surface is populated. That says something.

RE: Should you pay???

I don't see any developing countries in the list of polluters.
Therefor it's fair to be compensated.

RE: Should you pay???

1.China, with more than 10,065 million tons of CO2 released.
2.United States, with 5,416 million tons of CO2
3.India, with 2,654 million tons of CO2
4.Russia, with 1,711 million tons of CO2
5.Japan, 1,162 million tons of CO2
6.Germany, 759 million tons of CO2
7.Iran, 720 million tons of CO2
8.South Korea, 659 million tons of CO2
9.Saudi Arabia, 621 million tons of CO2
10.Indonesia, 615 million tons of CO2

The biggest polluters.
I'd like to see how these countries are dealt with, in the precise order as well hmmm

RE: calm-mind vs disturbed-mind

If your mind is calm then you are half asleep.
Your mind is always on the go and if that means disturbed, yes, it has too many things to process.
And I am not saying it in a bad way.
Meditation isn't a natural state of mind and if it means it is the only calm moment your mind can have I'd happily skip it.

RE: Should you pay???

The statistics show that only 100 companies are responsible for 71% of the world's pollution.
I find it interesting to know that me and you are the ones punished and made feel guilty if we use plastic straws instead of paper ones, but those 100 companies in a world of 8 billion people are too prescious to be bothered.
Go figure...

RE: only for men and only for women

Being a woman is only for women.
And being a man is only for men.

RE: Should Medical Doctors everywhere wear uniforms that identify their sponsors?

There is no such thing as free health care.
Everyone pays taxes and social insurance.
A GP isn't a specialist, and often one have to wait for months to see one or go to a private clinic.
Same with dental care.
It is true doctors work with certain pharmaceutical companies to prescribe their medicines.
It is not against the law and it is a worlwide practice.
And of course they are paid for doing that.
Should they be open about this, well, it won't change anything anyway.
it is an ethical matter after all, if they sell someone's drugs intentionally...
And ethics don't make you cash...do they?!

RE: Is surrogacy right or wrong?

For me having a child isn't just a fertilized egg implanted in a friendly environment.
The bond that pregnancy creates is the more important part.
Maternity instinct kicks off and the body does its work to welcome the new life.
I's rather adopt than use someone else's body to create a child that is somehow biologicaly mine but still foreign to my body and mind.

RE: Plonker of the Week

The truth always comes out.
People are driven by hate and not fairness when it comes to this subject.
I feel sorry for them...in fact very sorry!

RE: Plonker of the Week

And this one is even bigger wlonker...
Zelensky proves he is a idiot...again!
And so are those behind him...

RE: Plonker of the Week

What about this plonker of a "woman"...roll eyes

RE: groceries

I don't do weekly shopping, I buy what I need every day, I don't freeze meat or other food. My monthly bill is about 350 Euros.
If we assume that specific bill was all groceries, yes, it's a lot to spend in one go.
But if they have purchased some appliances and clothes, no it isn't.

RE: What is the thought that woke you up this morning?

What woke me up this morning was a message saying "Your parcel is available to pick up..."
I made myself an early Christmas present (two presents if I have to be precise)... smitten

RE: Greek tonight

Sorry, my bad.
I remember having Suvlaki with chunks not slices of meat in Cyprus.
But let's face it the Yiros is another way of saying Doner kebab or Shawarma.
