RE: Which would you prefer to do?

I don't need to go abroad to have a great holiday.
We have everything. And most importantly four seasons to enjoy from.
I am not a great fan of the heat but also not a great fan of too cold weather.
Thank God I am a couple of hours away the hot mineral water springs.
And a 40 minute drive to the sea side.

This is where I am going in December.

RE: Is Marriage no longer necessary?

There will always be arranged marriages, marriages for money and status, marriages because of shortlived physical attraction.
We can not say they are the majority, no way.
Let's not make the exceptions the main reason for failure.
The truth is that older generations have found the true meaning of the marriage and it is to provide a stable family environment for children.
And they weren't afraid to put in the work and effort and put everyone in the same place of importance.
They know love grows and transforms with the time and it depends on the two involved and not empty expectations.
Today we are ditching more and more of the collective and stand for the painful individualism, borderlining with sociopathy and narcissism.

RE: Is Marriage no longer necessary?

Choosing the wrong partner and the desire for instant gratification is what makes people fail in their relationships, especially more so today.
Unrealistic outlook on what a marriage is, all the glitter and weird romanticism.
Lack of work put into the connection and no responsibility on both ends.
Marriage isn't a walk in the park it should be looked after and cared for.
Not many are ready to do that.
I know so many people who have been in a"serious" relationship for many years and then suddenly marry someone else in a blink of an eye...
It should be easier to marry at older age, as we are supposed to be more mature and more wise.
Right?
But itseems to be easier to become cynical and egotistical instead?!

I have an airfryer and a multicooker but I don't use them.
My oven is steem oven by Miele and I love it, I bought it many years ago but just started using it the last few years.

RE: The narratives of the powerful

Don't be sorry Tom, all is goodhandshake

RE: The narratives of the powerful

Bod, I hasitated if I should post this same video when I watched it yesterday.
Too many are quick to jump on the race blame wagon...or would say I am intentionally critical towards UK.
It is damn concerning and we all know it.
Indian or not he is in te same boat with the rest of the enemies of our freedom.

RE: Is this true America ?

RE: Is this true America ?

Glasgowis still there according to Glasgow news online in 2021
Not the top but close... dunno

RE: Is this true America ?

Glasgow was named one of the most dangerous cities in Europe in 2021.
Info taken from Glasgowlive.com.
May be not the capital of stabs in Europe but in the top five.
What a relief...

RE: Is this true America ?

It doesn't change the narrative of your daily news, Tiger.
Glasgow's place was taken by Bradford, West Yorkshire...according to your own news feed dunno

RE: Is this True England?

I have seen it in England...

RE: Is this True England?

Suella Braverman will sort that out.
Nobody more determined to get rid of immigrants than an immigrant oneself.
And I am serious.

RE: Is this true America ?

People who live in some of the most controlled societies are the loudest to protest against rights...
And no, I'm not talking China or North Korea.
I'm talking those who don't believe someone will even dare control them or deprive them iof their "rights".
They simply don't realise they've been screwed...

RE: Is this true America ?

No, I don't think it is sick.
It says "I had enough"...
People had enough, Tiger.
The lies and arrogance went over the board.
The normal people know their say have no value anymore, their lives are not in their hands.
This is how revolutions start...And just about time too.

RE: Is this true America ?

Well, Tiger,
after this senile douchebag of a president they have now has been "lawfully" elected one starts to question how manipulated the vote could be.
People had enough and even if the ways used to protect their right are intimidating some sensitive souls, that is the resultof too many lies and manipulation.

RE: Expensive lies

Hi Tiger,
the experession The pen is mightier....I know it but so what?!
As the censorship and the fear mongering has taken over.
Even Google admited they make sure you find the information companies and organisations WANT you to find.
We do not realise how controlled our reality is.
And to be honest I would believe the extremes some governments would go to, to make you believe their agenda is nothing but good for you.
How much money these families took for losing their children?
The killer was killed, who paid them to ease the pain and shorten the grief?
