I teared up when I heard the news yesterday. I must say there's never been another power figure in the whole wide world demanding so much respect as queen Elizabeth did for me. Remarkable person. Rest in peace, Your Majesty!
I'll take the chef. I love baking and cake making but will happily give the everyday side to someone else. It takes up time that I hardly have to spare lately. Thank God, no pretentious eaters at home. Traditional dishes are favourite. As a former gymnast I don't need anyone telling me what to do gym wise...
Karachi where Ali lives gets flooded every single year. They say it's bad water infrastructure and mismanagement. Add this to a sudden increase of rain fall and you have a disaster. We got some really bad floods too a couple of days ago. It is the human activity that cause it mostly and it is a worldwide problem. Clogging river beds with rubbish, building uncontrollably, overpopulating areas with no proper infrastructure to accommodate the needs of so many people .. What can we expect?!
That's not always the case. Everyone is different and some people benefit from not forcing themselves to eat when their body doesn't need it. I understand if you have physical activity above the average, as you do, being in the gym early morning. I honestly can't pass any solid food through my throat in the morning, but I am generous on liquids.
I have my grumpy moments. Annoying client is the worst I can get grumpy about, changing their appointment three times in half an hour and then call in the last moment to say they want the original time or show up at the original time demanding it was never changed. Nothing worse than positivity at any cost. But I must admit I have refused service to few and stick to my decision for further appointments. It was that bad.
I'll think for those I leave behind and make sure everything is in order, plain and simple for them to deal with. One week won't make a difference to my life, I had it the way I wanted, what's more to ask.
RE: A thread of respect for Queen Elizabeth who died this day 8th September 2022
William and Kate are ready.I'm sure Charles will not wait long to give them the green light.
