RE: Special treatment

It's not that men do not realise an enhancement has been performed but I guess they don't put any thought in the "nature" aspect of the reproduction...laugh

RE: Special treatment

I think beauty is no longer in fashion...
As natural beauty is losing over the fake...
We know how easy it is today to change one's features...
Even the so called most beautiful woman is a product of the plastic surgery...

RE: The Iron curtain!

We will remain sane and strong...
We are street wise and we are those who will fight a madman wielding a knife and not run away and hide...

RE: Do any of the women of CS like to dress up and look good as this in a dress?

What I remember from my time in school is that we rarely had anyone overweight...
And it isn't only the fat shaming today but the fat praising too...
There's nothing healthy in any extreme and it should be stopped and not promoted as normal...

RE: COVID surges again in China

The Chinese reacted the fastest and harshest to the Covid thing because they didn't know what it really is and where it's coming from...
They acted as if it was a chemical attack and they are not far from the truth...
It was a foreign enemy and they treated it as such...

RE: Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe released from Iran.

The recommendation of how the money should be spent is more or less cynical when you know who you are talking to...
They paid for something and it is not the life of three human beings...for sure...

RE: Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe released from Iran.

What we think has nothing to do with what had happened I guess...
"Charities" that teach you journalism when you are already a journalist sounds like looking for troubles to me...
When you play with fire you get burnt... dunno

RE: Authentic Self

You say compassion hasn't been taught and yet the importance of the family being the teachers or the one that fails you is the main point here...
Generations are teaching the next generation but this isn't a guarantee that they give you more than the basic values and societal boundaries of behaviour...
I am yet to see a new generation that isn't blaming the previous ones for all their failures...
This is what I was trying to put across...
The loving and caring families can also produce dysfunctional children and it happens more often than we are comfortable to admit...
Overpowering your kid and raising them with the thought they are the most important person amongst others can be seen today on a quite large scale...and it comes from "care"...
It isn't all doom and gloom of course...
But being compassionate doesn't mean you will do the right thing when the time calls you to take action...

RE: Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe released from Iran.

As a journalist she did work for BBC world service trust, an international charity that provided training courses to Iranian citizen journalists and bloggers in its Iran Media Development Project's ZigZAg magazine and associated radio programme...and later moved to Thompson Reuters foundation...
Do you think she was worth 390 million and why?
Training Iranian bloggers and journalists can be tricky if you step outside of the legal zone...
I've been twice in Iran and trust me they have rules which you have to obey, just like any other place...I guess...
I am looking at it as a former journalist, don't get me wrong...

RE: Presidential

I don't believe anyone would like to see e as a president even for an hour...
I would have a very, very heavy hand...on any BS...

RE: Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe released from Iran.

You do believe that's the case, held ransom because of a tank deal from 1979?!

RE: Authentic Self

We can present our points of view and we can insist ours is right-er than yours and yet it is all down to experience of transformation...
Not everyone who understands the Ego, being it human Ego (human self) or the Higher Ego (higher self) can actually accept their nature and allow the transformation to happen...
As the human nature is an ugly thing and if society didn't have some boundaries of what is acceptable as behaviour we were going to live a totally different life...
Looking for the better side is a voluntarily act for many, yet running away from the ugly side can be a struggle as it goes against one's nature for many others...
Accepting the Higher self comes with restrictions to the raw human nature and that makes the act feel unnatural and against the will...for most people...

RE: Authentic Self

The ego isn't always a bad thing.
Or at least I believe the human ego in us is the one that tips you over...every time.
And at the end of the day being true to what you are at the moment is the real you...
Many are afraid indeed to show who they are.
They are afraid it will damage the image they seek to present...

RE: Authentic Self

We do, but we are still the same person to some extent...
I was thinking about playing a role as it's easier way to deal with life...
Who knows what strange things are ticking inside of us...?!cool

RE: Whey we are not successful in getting the right match

As they say... "You need to beat the cool of my "alone" in order to be in my life..."
Not much to ask...devil

RE: Authentic Self

Working on our own ways...

Is it like finding ourselves through being someone else... laugh
Interesting...

RE: Specialty Dishes (of food) ... Crunchy Squid heads anyone?

Not only in Asia...
tails, blood, guts, tripe, brain, tongues...you will find in almost every country traditional dishes...

RE: Authentic Self

Well, quite a lot of people on here insist they are someone else in real life...
Is that some kind of schizophrenic behavioural disorder?
One can choose which side of them to show online and that is understandable, if you are not here to play the joker or entertain others but just say what you have to say. and get lost..
But different personality on and offline is alarming to say the least...

RE: What is the cure to war?

Ah, and by the way, I just came home from doing some shopping...
A couple of Ukrainian women "refugees" were buying thermal underwear cause they are going skiing...
And I was very happy to hear that...
The fact they are relaxed and getting on with their lives is great to see...

RE: What is the cure to war?

The cure to war is to stop the propaganda...
Aren't the fairness and justice the pillars of democracy?
The right of each side to be heard...
Exactly the opposite of what is happening now...
As the mainstream media is feeding us one sided propaganda and from every corner it comes with the order to block, block, block...
Block their news, block their sky, block their banks...
We are the only ones right and justified...
Come on now, be awake for a change and for once...

RE: Do any of the women of CS like to dress up and look good as this in a dress?

Morning, Selenite!
They actually overeat and after vomiting feel even worse mentally, and yes, many are overweight too, it's called Bulimia and is as dangerous as Anorexia...
Men seem to be overlooked in regard of eating disorder problems...
If you look at the catwalks for man's fashion all men are skinny... It doesn't seem to raise anyone's concern though...
There are celebrities who are actually talented people and they don't need to keep up with the crowd...
But those being paid big money to present themselves in a certain way all the time must be difficult to bare...
And let's face it, many "celebrities" are far from talented and to be in "fashion" takes up on their mentality as they are in constant competition for attention...
Yet none has quit and lived a normal life away from the spot light...
They know what they are getting into and it's all voluntarily...
They only complain after gaining financial wealth, but very, very silent while climbing the fame stairs...
How do we call that?

dunno

RE: Do any of the women of CS like to dress up and look good as this in a dress?

No worries, Selenite, it happens...sometimes we get too eager to express ourselves and sometimes our thoughts aren't all out in words...and that leads to misunderstandings...
Guilty of that myself...
Anorexia is a mental struggle, to say the least, women and men suffer equally. Starving oneself is a form of punishment in most cases... As for celebrities, well, they are expected to be in the public eye and it kind of goes along with the benefits... The honey and the sting, you know...
That's why many have addictions and mental problems...

RE: What is the cure to war?

The cure to war?
I guess it's learning to pay the price...
Make the victim feel wanted and give you the best bargain...
An equal exchange of incomparable goods...

RE: Do any of the women of CS like to dress up and look good as this in a dress?

We mentioned the Dress not complimenting her figure...and not the figure itself
Take it easy, Selenite...you didn't just overreact, you insulted us.
And your accusations are pretty harsh...
Read again if you're not quite sure about the wording before you jump the guns...

Absolutely, she deserves a better dress... hug
The pattern of this one looks like a China tea set from the 70s..uh oh

RE: Do any of the women of CS like to dress up and look good as this in a dress?

I don't see any comments about her waistline, Selenite...
Jaav was talking about the pattern in this area of the dress and I said the dress doesn't compliment her at all... dunno

RE: Say Anything

Track, welcome back...! hug

RE: Do any of the women of CS like to dress up and look good as this in a dress?

As much as I love Monica Bellucci, this dress is horrible and doesn't compliment her curves at all...
Try again, Gal...cool
