Yeah was there in 2003.

However ,that scenario will happen time and time again

Unless she wants it (being well) for herself , the only thing you can do is love from a distance .

Kitz a relitive of mine drank themselves to death . I know how you feel ,believe me. But you must live your own life and heal yourself .

Perhaps seing you get well (I mean in that you are not emeshed in her pain) that will give her the incentive to get well. Its like opperant conditioning ,the child see that behaving like she does gets her attention , she gets the resutls she wants . However refuse that attention , running when there is a crisis ,
and allowing her to clean up after herself ,could change the situation . Thats my wish for you and her.
