Yes I am sure it does.

One of my cousins went to India and had to come home 2 weeks

RE: The perfect getaway?

Well I have travelled in Canada on my own ans it has been some of

the best experiences of my life.

I have to admit I do shop .Little local arts and crafts . I normally buy something for my kitchen and have been known to

come back from my hols with a spatula ectlaugh

I love travelling on my own and to be honest perfer to do that.

It is lovely to have company ,thats true ,but I make friends whilst abroad and thats a buzz. I stay in inexpensive hostels

and meet the loveliest of folk .

I started to travel on my own in 2006 and never looked back.

I will have to get injections for India , they can be expensive
but are worth it. Its not in the bag yet (the holiday ,that is)

but I am working towards making it happen this summer .

RE: The perfect getaway?

Well mixing with locals is big on my agenda ,

no matter where I go ,that is number one . I don't do the laying

on the beach thing although I did have a fab holiday in Turkey

doing just that (sometimes) so that can be nice too ,each to his own .

I am not some sort of armchair anthrpologist , in that I mean I

like to experience the culture first hand and like to travel

to different places ,hence my love for Canada , it is vast ,beautiful and most areas are different . For example NFLD

is so very different not only in micro culture bur macro also.

My trip to India is not exactly planned but that me . I go where
my nose takes me and I wing it.

Of course this holiday (when i can go) is going to be frought
with issues that I haven't encountered ,language being one of

them .Though I was in Turkey ,I was with my boyfriend and six

others ,however this time (India) I will travel on my own ,so it will be interesting .

So in sumary for me the perfect holiday is 1) culture 2) food

3) travelling around .

be a chalange, English is spoken there

RE: The perfect getaway?

Evening PW,

I have been to Canada 3 times and travelled around.

Amazing big skys , lovely people , it is really a most beautiful

country .

RE: Holy Cannoli I surviuved!!

I don't even think that I can go for a day without switching on my comp thumbs up

I have become accustomed to it ,very much so. One of my real life friends laugh at each other . We reckon we are addicted to the internet . I don't pay bills etc online , thats not what I bought my comp for .But I do have huge fun online here and on FB also.

Even if I am not participating in the forums , I read some of the threads and I enjoy that a lot. However I get withdrawel symptoms sometimes if I don't read b4 I go to bed. I mean read from actual books .Thats my first love really.

Welcome back MF , missed you !!
