Yeah I think so too.
As the OP has stated many people start thread asking for thoughts
on things that are going on in thier lives ,so its not a lot to
ask that she does the same.

Some know it all ,I'm afraid ,but that isn't helpful either

Yes I hear you and I have never ever gotten in the middle of couple but IMO the OP is not trying to do that. I really don't
think the OP's objective is to come between her Son and his girlfriend. No , but to get enough money together to go to where
she wants to be.

We can't chose who we want our loved ones to love , I think the
OP would concur on this . just don't see the big deal with a
Son putting his siter and mother up for a while .

Yes absolutely Morgan ,
the government offices are nearer to her at her Sons house.
Also the lady is flat out working for herself and her daughter .


This Girlfriend sounds like she has laods of issues not MF,
to me MF has shown love ,care and constraint in this situation,
a much better woman than me .Yes I do hear you ,the OP is very strong and brave , it will work out as it is ment to IMO.

Yep you are 100% right.

But the OP is being judged for needing a dig out.

Now call me a realist , I am sure she is not the only person

to have needed one . Good for the lady I say , the only reason

this is happening is that she is following her nose to be with

her husband . I say putting some one up in your home ,certainly

your own Mother and Sister should be a privilage

can I just say that I find you post offensive.

No the OP did not put herself in the situation at all.

She is staying with her SON. She should be treated like the

Queen she is . If you have read this thread you will see that

the accommadation was offered and accepted .I think its assurd

to suggest that a Mother can't accept a dig out from her flesh

and blood .In my culture that I am aware of , no SON would allow

his Mother or sister to be treated in such a shabby way .You are

missing the point .

RIP my own mother , but if ever she had been in this predicament

and was treated like this (just the opening of mail is enough

for me to absolutely freak) it would most certainly be the end

of my relationship !! He would be gone as fast as I could say

"get lost "

People like you who take the moral high ground are very

disturbed in a way ,perhaps normal social interaction is

anathema to you ? But I can assure you a dog would be treated

better than this woman and her daughter . A Mother and a Sister

by the way .

We can do a physocology 101 about the alpha male and the 2

females vying for supremecy of course . In an ideal world we

would all be so easy to analyse however there is dynamics

involved such as love, emotion felling . It is a tough one.

But I am sure the OP will thank you for your input .

Yes it is rotten when stuff like that happens ,but if you don't

become overinvested if the first place ,then you won't get too
hurt .

How can one trust after that experience ???

Easy ,meet people in RL and then it is possible to really get to

know them .Actions speak louder than words so in the RL scenario

you will have no problem deciding for yourself if you want them

or not .I think your pride may of ben hurt in all of this ,that

is very understandable ,however you didn't really know him and

perhaps you wouldn't have liked him in RL in any case .

Sounds like he has a problem with being upfront , no loss
