I don't mind a bit of male grooming but I would like to date a guy who is caked in make-up

The only thing I would say about the whole male grooming thing is this . Women have bought in2 the beauty industry , look at its revenue , magazines products "with promises "
I just wouldn't like to see men falling for the empty promises of advertisements and being disappointed with said product . Of course the vast sums spent also .

Mostly it is a con . I don't buy the most expensive products at the moment and there is the arguement that the less expensive
products do the same job
