Case in point, def Leppard ...in their first album, the front man Joe Elliot had a really clean voice...in their second album, which came out after the success of back in black by ac/DC, the singers voice sounded like he was trying to be more like AC/DC new singer Brian Johnson... keeping up with the Johnson's by producer pressures... hence commercialized...I got to see def Leppard on their first tour...they opened for Judas priest...very good show
