want to get to know him better. some guys are very shy and if I pounced on them at first sight they may think I was easy, really I am not you only have 1 chance to make that first impression
I have had a few dogs and they were never aggressive in any way and I just think its a shame that some people think that dogs have a right to attack children or anyone for that matter. dont get me wrong some kids can be mean and just like humans if we get hit are first instinct is to hit back in that case I would not blame the dog. in this case I do blame the dog he got bit on his back thigh and the dog bit pretty hard he drew blood and the kid did not even see the dog until it was too late. I find it very hard to believe that the dog owners did not know that this dog was aggressive and should have had the dog tied up because we have a lot of children in our neighborhood and some are very young and too young to understand the rules
please dont take this the wrong way this is JMO I think that people as pet owners are responsible for their pets and if you have a dog that is being raised to protect or you know when your dog is not friendly it is your responsibility to keep that animal secure. yes the child did not belong in that yard. if the mailman comes to your house to deliver a package and does not know you have a dog does your dog have the right to attack him?
I live in a mobile home park and we are not allowed to have fences also they just started allowing dogs last year so it is pretty much a new thing in our neighborhood. I understand that people love their dogs but I think children's safety is more important and this kid was not teasing this dog he was running to get his ball and the dog went after him
