That was very different John wow out in the elements and for weeks no less. Ours was really a house the base was made out of cement and foam. It the good old days these were made out of a wood bottom. That is no longer allowed. Will see if I can dig up a picture of the house.
It is such a different life style. I have seen many pictures of house boats/homes right in downtown on the canals. Can you believe stepping of your houseboat and being in the centre of Amsterdam?
Ours was a two story house it was no different than any regular home except when a boat passed, we moved too.
I believe I send you all of the stories. Others only received the first 33 pages only. Very few have ever let me know if they enjoyed the stories or not.
Wow John that was nice of you to say. My regret is not having kept a diary. Yet often someone does or say something and there is another story coming back to me.

What is great time that was. 3 1/2 years living on the Mighty Frazer River. Swans flying on to our deck and we fed them cat food as it drives. Swans need to eat and drink at the same time.
So true Mercedes. I had an email like that this morning where I could set things straight. I believe to give the other person a chance to defend themselves. Often the problem is a small one.

I have noticed this now several times. People being able to recall things said/done eons ago by someone else. Bringing it back when ever they can manage to insert it again. Why not leave what has happened in the past where it belongs, in the past. If you still have not dealt with past issues with some people, then go to the person/persons in private emails.
Don't waste another thought on this selfish and inconsiderate man. Consider yourself lucky he showed you his true colours. He should have Insisted you talk to your brother, what if something happened to him? A date can be rescheduled. You have done not a thing you ought to be sorry for. This guy was a loser!
