Israel doing the most for Haiti, yet only have 7.5 million inhabitans

Hi Guys; Yes I am very proud of our Canadian troups too.
That is what our troups were meant to do, keeping the peace and help where ever it is needed.

Israel doing the most for Haiti, yet only have 7.5 million inhabitans

Israel' Disproportionate Response

Many countries and world leaders have accused Israel of responding disproportionately to aggression from Hizballah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza.
However, it is time that the world press and media speak of another disproportionate response from Israel.

The terrible disastrous earthquake in Haiti has generated responses from many nations. The US has sent supplies and personnel, Britain sent 64 firemen
and 8 volunteers, France sent troops for Search and Rescue. Many large and wealthy nations of the world sent money. The Arab and Moslem world nothing.

Israel, a nation of 7.5 million people has sent a team of 220 people that include Medical personnel and will establish the largest field hospital in Haiti, treating up to 5000 people a day, an experienced Search and Rescue team and medical supplies. As in previous earthquake disasters, such as in Gujarat India in 2001
and in Turkey, in the bombings in Kenya, Israel has been one of the most generous givers of aid and assistance.

Turkey seems to have forgotten this help as its extreme Moslem Government is cozying up to Iran.

Judge Goldstone, where are you now? Eating your heart out and hanging your head down in shame I hope.

The favorite occupation in the UN is Israel bashing. More resolutions have been passed condemning Israel than all the so called democratic nations such as
Sudan, China, Russia and others for their crimes against their minorities.

I think it is time that the world should know about Israel's disproportionate response.

Pay back time...................

Payday Party

A man left for work one Friday afternoon. But it was payday, so instead of going home, he stayed out the entire weekend partying with the boys and spending his entire paycheck.

When he finally appeared at home on Sunday night, he was confronted by his angry wife and was barraged for nearly two hours with a tirade befitting his actions. Finally his wife stopped the nagging and said to him, "How would you like it if you didn't see me for two or three days?" He replied, "That would be fine with me."

Monday went by and he didn't see his wife. Tuesday and Wednesday came and went with the same results. But on Thursday, the swelling went down just enough where he could see her a little out of the corner of his left eye

The law is the law right?......................

Surprising only that no one else has so far thought about this one eh dancing

The law is the law right?......................

THE LAW IS THE LAW!

I really love this one.
This is one of the better e-mails I have received in a long time!
I hope this makes its way around the US several times over!

So Be It!

THE LAW IS THE LAW

So if the United States government determines that it is against the law for the words 'under God' to be on our money, then, so be it.

And if that same government decides that the
'Ten Commandments'are not to be used in or on
a government installation, then, so be it.

I say, 'so be it,' because I would like to be a law abiding American citizen.

I say, 'so be it,' because I would like to think that smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.

I would like to think that those people have the American public's best interests at heart.

BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I'D LIKE?

Since we can't pray to God,
can't Trust in God and cannot post

His Commandments in Government buildings,

I don't believe the Government and its employees should participate in the Easter and Christmas celebrations
which honor the God that our government is eliminating from many facets of American life.

I'd like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving, & Easter.
After all, it's just another day.

I'd like the ' US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays.'
After all, it's just another day.

I'd like the Senate and the House of Representatives
to not have to worry about getting home for the'Christmas Break'
After all it's just another day.

I'm thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved,
if all government offices & services would work
on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter.
It shouldn't cost any overtime since those would be
just like any other day of the week to a government that is trying to be 'politically correct.'

In fact....

I think that our government should work on Sundays
(initially set aside for worshipping God...)
because, after all,
our government says that it should be just another day....

What do you all think????

If this idea gets to enough people, maybe our elected
officials will stop giving in to the 'minority opinions'
and begin, once again,
to represent the 'MAJORITY' of ALL of the American people.

SO BE IT............

Please Dear Lord,
Give us the help needed to keep you in our country!
'Amen' and 'Amen '

These are definitely things I never thought about but from now on, I will be sure to question those in government who support these changes.

At the top, it says
'I hope this makes its way around United States several times over!!!!!'

Let's see that it does.
Amen and Amen!

Do you remember aprons?...................

See? Lol just what I have said so why are we so reluctant to wear an apron?
Sometimes those old ones where not so dumb were they. wave

Do you remember aprons?...................

I remember when in Holland that I never saw my mom doing housework without a full apron.
I get spots in my clothes when frying and at times can't get them out, so I thought it is high time to make an apron. wave

A story of ungratefulness

Hi Amelie. My fiance's daughter is going over seas for the second
time to bring clothes etc to the poor.
She is only 30 years old and it is refreshing to see someone caring.
I do too but must admit on a small scale. wave

Yes we still complain a lot.

Do you remember aprons?...................

I don't think our kids know what an apron is.

The principal use of Grandma's apron was to protect the dress underneath, because she only had a few,it was easier to wash aprons than dresses and they used less material, but along with that, it served as a potholder for removing hot pans from the oven.

It was wonderful for drying children's tears, and on occasion was even used for cleaning out dirty ears.

From the chicken coop, the apron was used for carrying eggs, fussy chicks, and sometimes half-hatched eggs to be finished in the warming oven.

When company came, those aprons were ideal hiding places for shy kids.

And when the weather was cold grandma wrapped it around her arms.

Those big old aprons wiped many a perspiring brow,

bent over the hot wood stove.

Chips and kindling wood were brought into the kitchen in that apron.

From the garden, it carried all sorts of vegetables.

After the peas had been shelled, it carried out the hulls.

In the fall, the apron was used to bring in apples that had fallen from the trees.

When unexpected company drove up the road, it was surprising how much furniture that old apron could dust in a matter of seconds.

When dinner was ready, Grandma walked out onto the porch, waved her apron, and the menfolks knew it was time to come in from the fields to dinner.

It will be a long time before someone invents something that will replace that 'old-time apron' that served so many purposes.

Send this to those who would know (and love) the story about Grandma's aprons.

REMEMBER:

Grandma used to set her hot baked apple pies on the window sill to cool. Her granddaughters set theirs on the window sill

to thaw.

They would go crazy now trying to figure out how many germs were on that apron.

I don't think I ever caught anything from an apron.

Subject: A Story of Thankfulness

There was

a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind.

She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend.

He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend,

'If I could only see the world, I would marry you'

One day,
someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came

off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.

He asked
her,'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The
girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The
sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected
that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life
led her to refuse to marry him.

Her
boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her
saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before
they were yours, they were mine!'

This is
how the human brain often works when our status changes.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who
was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Life Is a
Gift

Today
before you say an unkind word - Think of someone
who can't speak.

Before
you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone
who has nothing to eat..

Before
you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone
who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today
before you complain about life - Think of someone

who went too early to heaven..

Before
whining about the distance you drive Think of someone

who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when
you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the
unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.

And when
depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on
your face and think: you're alive and still around..

RE: Isn't it wonderful that 'Bay' is a nice Christian guy?

Could it be that the Lord gave her more of a chance to accept Him?

RE: Christians....Do you understand this?

You will not read anywhere that there where three Magi. Yes three gifts where mentioned. In those days they travelled in large caravans. Perhaps maybe those gifts were duplicated.
The point is that it is people who drew the conclusion of three gifts, three Kings.
Angels, as you can read in the Old Testament, are always men.
They are messengers.
Again, it is people who turned them into females and gave them wings. angel
