I once read a post where a woman stated that she was disappointed that another woman did not flirt with HER. I guess in today's day and age it shows that something must be wrong with you if you are not the subject of a little intra-gender flirting now and then.

Sometimes it really depends on the country in which you live. There are many interracial couples where i live and people are very accepting.

Well, I have learnt to read the manual asap, if available. I just bought a new motorcycle and was having a hard time turning off the indicator light. So I decided to read the manual: problem solved: just press the thing-a-ma-jig. whew!

We can spend our entire lives trying to figure out someone who does not want to be figured out. As the op said: our loss.

I don't think so. I have found that it is best to read the instruction manual first. Then the real fun begins. Have you ever had a piece of equipment with several dials and thing-a-ma-jigs and not know what they do?

How many of us take full advantage of what our computer, word or excel program, etc. can do, for example? Mostly because we have not been introduced to that feature, or have forgotten?

Well, I met a girl when I was about 15 on a camping trip, she maybe 15. We shared addresses and naturally, I went to look her up. Turns out her address was an open lot , or maybe I could not find it. I was torn.

Needless to say, I met her a few years later and tada,she was still interested in me. Of course with my hurt pride, I would have none of it.

Just last week I found myself thinking about her, nearly 30 years later. What if?........

I find your thread quite interesting. I would say most women are not willing to admit what you have admitted. You portray most men's fantasy of a woman in real life, but is still having issues. Your story is a bit complicated, especially the latter relationship.

One thing I have learnt is that people (women)are all so different and that the best way to learn from a woman is to listen to what she says. Some women are very private about themselves, so life becomes a quest of trying to figure them out.

Your story rings of a bygone era when the cavemen would club their mate over the head, then drag them home and live happily ever after, without any more need for the club.

You mentioned in your post two previous encounter with the men of your dreams. What happened? Even this fantasy, it seems, did not last for long, in reality.

Many men, including myself dream of the type of woman you are. But if we truly found her would we know what to do with her? True love, they say, will last until either one of us is separated by death.

I guess all the factors would probably be found, in real life, in Bill Clinton?

Actually, no. Tried that. To test what I am saying, click on one of your posts so your picture appear on the left side of your computer screen. Click on comments or post. A list of your last posts will appear, with a number from 1 to infinity on the top and bottom of the page. If you can get past page one, you probably have not been on CS long enough

You too? I thought I was weird. Had this problem all my life, and still do. Tried sleeping pills, nothing.

Finally doc prescribed some psychedelic drugs which works like a charm. A couple of beers before bed also seems to do the trick.
