I used to have that fear too, until I began to lose friends for being a prude. Now I just take it and throw it in the garbage when they are not looking.
This fear was caused by something that happened to a family member when I was very young.

When my grand aunt died, I dreamt about her the same night. We were in the same house and she was bedridden. The dream was so real I peed my pants. She was just staring at me with those evil eyes. I was about 30 then. I knew she was upset with me before she died.
The problem is: you will get so used to Ms. Palmer that when Ms. Real comes along she will have stiff competition. Same goes for Immortal Bob with the 1000 rpm dipstick: no mortal man will ever once again be able to conquer venus.
You would be surprised to know why people remain members. I found so many friends on CS that I realise that we all need different things in life and no one person will ever be able to satisfy that. To expect that one person will meet all your needs is unrealistic, IMO, and unwise.
Too much fun to be had here. And it is all free. I see so many people who are willing to share their faults, jokes, trials and tribulations. CS decided a long time ago that members do not have to be single to remain members, although that may have been their first intent.
And just because someone says they are single does not mean that they are telling the truth. They could be a scammer.
As I said, I will even look at a womans profile, to see if the divorce has come through, and her profile has changed. You will be surprised how many women in the forums are in a relationship and only here for the forums.
So far the poll is saying what I always knew: women rarely look at a mans profile. Is it because they only have to look once, or they know what they don't want?
Me, I always check again to see if she is wearing something skimpi(er).
