I think pick up lines dont work. None of them. Just be spontaneous and say something that goes along with your feelings. You can tell when someone`s being honest and really mean what they say, and to me that`s what counts.
What`s a GOOD MAN (for a woman of course) in a man`s opinion? What`s the kinda guy you would like advise your sister to marry? And how could she tell if a guy is good without you being there to assist her?
Now please forgive my stupidity, but there`s a legend in Brazil about Europeans, especially Germans, French and British, that says they shower like once a week.
Is that true? I think I will make a thread about that. Hehehehehe
I thought that would be too rude, but I tried in a softer way. Took him to the supermarket and introduced him to the hygien section, saying "you are in brazil, it`s warm, peopla sweat, and they smell bad. You should get soap, shampoo, deodorant, and use them at least once a day, here". He was offended, he said that was his natural smell. Thats when my natural nose got offended and there was the row.
Offputting is nice of you to say. I almost threw myself out the window. Luckily I used to live on the first floor so Id only break a leg or two. But I did consider.
No need to say my nose ended up in a row with his smell, and we never talked again. The man just wasn[t reasonable.
I once met a German guy online we wrote each other for months, and got along so well he came to Brazil so we could meet. I thought he was to be the great love of my life. Until I picked him up at the airport. I thought the sewers were damaged and flooding the place. And when he got home, you think he showered? Nope. For another 3 days!!!
Bread is nutritious, always there in the fridge, all you need for your health, handy, inexpensive, and you can count on it when there´s nothing else to eat. But it´s boring.
Cake on the other hand, is nice, tasty, full of calories and you just can´t get enough of it. You´ll eat a whole cake all at once and beg for more. But you´ll regret forever having eaten it. It makes you fat, it makes you sad, when all the pleasure of eating is over you look at yourself in the mirror and you feel like s***.
Maybe I haven´t explained well enough and the ladies could fill in the gaps so you get a better idea.
As for me, well I was looking for some sort of a muffin.
Barack Obama illustrates that quite well. I´ve also been told by a sociology professor and researcher that the offical language in the US could become Spanish sometime in the next 20 years, because the Mexican descendants will be more than half the population.
Your civilization is disappearing already, due to pure and plain greed. Meanwhile, lacking other options, the "uncivilized" breed...
Hey I can MAKE caipirinhas, got all the ingredients at home... Hmmm, nice lime, and cheap too, not like what you get in Europe or North America, you can´t make decent caipirinha with those...
Actually not. The term INDIVIDUAL is being used more and more each day.
BTW, thanks for making a point that I have a brain. Cristina doesn´t think so. But again, the man in the wig thinks I´ve got a brain, that´s good enough for me.
Oh, I´m heading out for my Friday evening. Anybody wanna join me for a caipirinha?
Government, special committees, the Führer?Chinese realized? Take a look at population density in China. It was an emergency measure
Yes, that´s what I meant. Emergency measure when they realized it.
[Some might find it hard to wrap their minds around the big news in demographic circles today. It's not catastrophic population growth. It's catastrophic population shrinkage.]
In many countries in Europe it is, so I´ve heard.
[But nearly half the world's population lives in countries where the native-born are not reproducing fast enough to replace themselves. This is true in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Russia, Japan, Canada and the United States.]
"The world population is the total number of living humans on Earth at a given time. As of October 2008, the world's population is estimated to be about 6.7 billion (6,700,000,000). In line with population projections, this figure continues to grow at rates that were unprecedented before the 20th century, although the rate of growth has almost halved since its peak of 2.2% per year, which was reached in 1963. The world's population, on its current growth trajectory, is expected to reach nearly 9 billion by the year 2042." (Wikipedia heheh)
"Asia accounts for over 60% of the world population with almost 3800 million people. The People's Republic of China and India alone comprise 20% and 17% respectively. Africa follows with 840 million people, 12% of the world population. Europe's 710 million people make up 11% of the world's population. North America is home to 514 million (8%), South America to 371 million (5.3%), and Australia 21 million." (wikipeeeediaaa!!! - can anything be more common sens????!!!)
I think that´s true to the point where people know about and have access to birth control. What when there is no such thing?
What about all those protestants, catholics, muslims crying out loud that thou shan´t interfere with God´s (or Allah´s, or Jehova´s) will? Back to the beginning: having children is NOT a personal decision anyway is it, for those people?
If you´re religious, you can´t choose. So much for "freedom of choice". And som much for all the attempts to save the planet, cause that´s not what makes the world go round. Breeding, though, is a very attractive source of money for some, I´d say, of those in the 3% already mentioned.
To me, having children is serious business. You shouldn´t have them JUST BECAUSE, and I think we´re long past (thank god or thank science, whatever) that so-calles "mother instinct" or whatever you call it in English, so we can be reasonable about it.
Thing is, there´s LOADS of teenagers out there breeding and they don´t even want to. If the individual is not in a position to make a responsible decision, should society stand by and watch the disaster?
A GOOD MAN
