This is going to be a very interesting election indeed. I've never seen so many people excited about it. People are calling in on the radio and bragging that they voted. Many of them are first-time voters.
I'm going to go vote after work.
I just wish we could know the official results sooner. By the time the polls close on the Pacific coast, it'll be 11 or 12 here. Then to count all the votes. We won't know for positive until tomorrow morning. I think it's gonna be really close. Someone crying recount wouldn't surprise me.
Personally, I'd say my #1 best and worst is that I'm loyal to a fault. Good because it means I'm there 100% in all types of relationships. I am fiercly loyal to those I consider friends. I think it's the mentality of where I grew up, which is - You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us.
On the other hand, when I'm getting the short end of the stick, it's hard for me to leave others behind. Such as today, when I have to give my 2-week notice to my employer. I feel guilty, like I've been cheating on him. Silly, I know.
If I were a boy Even just for a day I’d roll outta bed in the morning And throw on what I wanted then go Drink beer with the guys And chase after girls I’d kick it with who I wated And I’d never get confronted for it Cause they’d stick up for me
If I were a boy I think I could understand How it feels to love a girl I swear I’d be a better man I’d listen to her Cause I know how it hurts When you lose the one you wanted Cause he’s taken you for granted And everything you had got destroyed
If I were a boy I could turn off my phone Tell evveryone it’s broken So they’d think that I was sleepin’ alone I’d put myself first And make the rules as I go Cause I know that she’d be faithful Waitin’ for me to come home (to come home)
If I were a boy I think I could understand How it feels to love a girl I swear I’d be a better man I’d listen to her Cause I know how it hurts When you lose the one you wanted Cause he’s taken you for granted And everything you had got destroyed
It’s a little too late for you to come back Say its just a mistake Think I’d forgive you like that If you thought I would wait for you You thought wrong
But you’re just a boy You don’t understand Yeah you don’t understand How it feels to love a girl someday You wish you were a better man
You don’t listen to her You don’t care how it hurts Until you lose the one you wanted Cause you’ve taken her for granted And everything you have got destroyed But you’re just a boy
I hate talking on the phone. 90% of my cell phone use is text messaging. So yeah, I've made some mistakes, but luckily nothing too embarrassing. A boss of mine once said "Do or say anything you want, just make sure no one gets hard evidence."
Small town homecoming queen She's the star in this scene There's no way to deny she's lovely Perfect skin, perfect hair Perfumed hearts everywhere Tell myself that inside she's ugly Maybe I'm just jealous I can't help but hate her Secretly I wonder if my boyfriend wants to date her
She is the prom queen I'm in the marching band She is a cheerleader I'm sitting in the stands She gets the top bunk I'm sleeping on the floor She's Miss America and I'm just the girl next door
Senior class president She must be heaven sent She was never the last one standing A backseat debutante Everything that you want Never to harsh or too demanding Maybe I'll admit it I'm a little bitter Everybody loves her but I just wanna hit her
She is the prom queen I'm in the marching band She is a cheerleader I'm sitting in the stands She gets the top bunk I'm sleeping on the floor She's Miss America and I'm just the girl next door Oh and I'm just the girl next door
I don't know why I'm feeling sorry for myself I spend all my time wishing that I was someone else
She is the prom queen I'm in the marching band She is a cheerleader I'm sitting in the stands I get a little bit, she gets a little more She's Miss America and... she's Miss America I'm just the girl next door...
Lucky you were born that far away so We could both make fun of distance Lucky that I love a foreign land for The lucky fact of your existence
Baby I would climb the Andes solely To count the freckles on your body Never could imagine there were only Ten Million ways to love somebody
Le ro lo le lo le, Le ro lo le lo le Can't you see I'm at your feet
Whenever, wherever We're meant to be together I'll be there and you'll be near And that's the deal my dear
Thereover, hereunder You'll never have to wonder We can always play by ear But that's the deal my dear
Lucky that my lips not only mumble They spill kisses like a fountain Lucky that my breasts are small and humble So you don't confuse them with mountains Lucky I have strong legs like my mother To run for cover when I need it And these two eyes that for no other The day you leave will cry a river
Le ro le le lo le, Le ro le le lo le At your feet I'm at your feet
Whenever, wherever We're meant to be together I'll be there and you'll be near And that's the deal my dear
Thereover, hereunder You'll never have to wonder We can always play by ear But that's the deal my dear
Le ro le le lo le, Le ro le le lo le Think out loud Say it again
Le ro lo le lo le lo le Tell me one more time That you'll live Lost in my eyes
Whenever, wherever We're meant to be together I'll be there and you'll be near And that's the deal my dear
Thereover, hereunder You've got me head over heels There's nothing left to fear If you really feel the way I feel
You can take a stranger home Never spend a night alone But you have to face the morning feeling empty inside Cause you can't pretend it's real When what you really want to feel Is the magic of the moment when love can't be denied
When your heart makes a sound like rolling thunder And your arms are wrapped around an angel from above And when the earth begins to shake Cause it can feel the love you make Oh oh oh that's how you know When you're in love
I had all but given up On ever finding love Until I caught a glimpse of heaven when I looked into your eyes And your fingers touched my skin Like a stormy summer wind Now I'm falling like the rain oh what a sweet surprise
When your heart makes a sound like rolling thunder And your arms are wrapped around an angel from above And when the earth begins to shake Cause it can feel the love you make Oh oh oh that's how you know When you're in love
All of God's creation starts to sing in harmony All I know you can hear it baby, I know you believe
When your heart makes a sound like rolling thunder And your arms are wrapped around an angel from above And when the earth begins to shake Cause it can feel the love you make Oh oh oh that's how you know when you're in That's how you know when you're in That's how you know when you're in love That's how you know
