My cat Sofie likes to play War with herself. She'll run back and forth really fast a dozen times then suddenly stop, hunker down, and look around frantically. I have not been able to figure this out, other than she must be psycho.
Ooh lots of things. My grandma made the best soup beans and cornbread. And my mom makes a great pork chop & potato bake. Oh and also Greek spaghetti & veggie stirfry - is to die for. Speaking of Greek, gyros are awesome and Greek salad. One of my agents is from India and she makes this killer eggplant and potato dish and homemade hummus and pita bread.
But I'm just as happy with quick, simple foods, my favourite being a mayo and swiss cheese sandwich.
Almost forgot... SEITAN! It's a vegetarian wheat meat. Sounds gross but it is the BEST "meat" I've ever tasted. Looks and tastes just like real meat. Yummy!
What's really stupid is that he's denying any responsibility when the street camera caught him clearly hitting the guy. He's trying to say the guy was already laying in the street.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Police used surveillance video from the state Capitol to track down a man accused in a hit-and-run in the East End.
Eric Shane McIntyre, 29, of Dunbar was arrested Monday. He is charged with hitting 56-year-old George Michael Gloucester about 4 a.m. Sunday, dragging him more than 300 feet and then driving away.
Surveillance cameras at the corner of Elizabeth Street and Kanawha Boulevard captured the incident and tapes were made available by the Division of Protective Services at the Capitol, said Charleston Police Sgt. Shawn Williams.
"Without the cooperation of the Division of Protective Services this wouldn't have been possible. We wouldn't have had the video for the investigation and we appreciate their help," Williams said.
The video helped police identify the car as a silver Nissan Altima. They eventually located one that was registered to McIntyre's mother.
When contacted by police, McIntyre's mother said her son had her car the night before but that she had it at work with her at the time.
Police eventually spoke with Eric McIntyre. McIntyre told officers he had been driving on Elizabeth Street after leaving the Empty Glass near the corner of Elizabeth and Washington streets, according to Williams.
McIntyre told police that he was not intoxicated, but Williams said officers haven't been able to confirm that.
McIntyre told officers he saw a man lying in the road and got out to help him, Williams said.
Williams said the video shows a different scene all together. In it, the silver Nissan strikes Gloucester in the intersection of Virginia and Elizabeth Streets and drags him 306 feet, almost to Kanawha Boulevard. The video then shows the car circle the block and return to the scene 11 minutes later.
The car was seized from McIntyre's mother. Williams said some damage to the undercarriage was found along with other unspecified evidence.
McIntyre was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Monday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing injury, failure to render aid, reckless driving, failure to maintain control, driving to the left of center and driving with a suspended operators license.
Bond was set at $100,000.
Gloucester remains in the intensive care unit at Charleston Area Medical Center's General Hospital, where he was taken after the incident.
Welcome to CS. Everyone here has given good advice. I just want to add something my Grandma told me (she was a very smart lady). Don't expect others to bring you happiness, you must find it yourself. I know we all feel happier with a significant other in our lives. But who wants to start dating someone who describes themselves as unhappy? Be a happy, whole person first, then you have more to share with someone special. I know, easier said that done. Good luck!
She just turned 16 in July. She was born when I was 12 and she called me mommy for the first time when she was 11 months old (I had her all the time when I wasn't in school. She lived with her grandma who lived next door, but didn't want to take care of her.) When she was 6, her mother came back and took her away. And by the time that family feud was over, I was away in college.
But she's doing very well. Gets good grades and is even on the softball team. She's got a good head on her shoulders despite her ignorant parents. I'm so proud of her.
To me a "great" guy is one who is just human. When I say great, I mean kind-hearted, honest, and true to himself. I don't need someone who is king of the world, just king of my heart.
You have to be friends before you can be anything more. That is the basis of any relationship. But I agree some people may not even try with someone who says they're here for "friends only".
What's meant to be will always find a way. Don't be someone you're not. Be yourself and the right person will come along. If you missed someone, it probably wasn't right. And it goes both ways. If she didn't show any interest in you, then being more attentive towads her wouldn't change her mind.
I don't think it's possible to try too hard, but don't bend over backwards at her every little whim. Just be yourself and tell her flat out that you like her. But of course, that's my view and maybe she might not like that approach. I am unlike other girls.
RE: I don't like you guys anymore... well not any less either.....but it is your fault that I
OMG that sounds so good! I love love LOVE ethnic foods.
