I'm cooking it in a crock pot right now....turnip and carrots layered with the corned beef on top. Red potatoes with the cabbage around the sides went into pot after a couple of hours of cooking. Now it will cook until the corned beef is tender.
Perhaps if you are a stickler for honesty, you should correct your profile or explain your situation like all the rest of the forum members usually do.
What I have found is that people find it hard to find time to contribute to a commuity effort and have a job as well.
Tending a garden, raising livestock, canning, drying foods, sewing, getting wood for heat, bartering....all those things are very labor intensive and take lots of time.
