RE: Are you more of a city or country person?

What I miss about the city.....

Ballet and opera - the Nutcracker Suite at Christmas time...and Blue Man group.

Sushi.

My grown up children - one who lives in the Boston area and one who lives in Redmond, WA.

Shopping - the SMELL of upscale malls.

sigh

RE: what is advantageous? marrying at a young age or marrying at an older age?

Hummmm.

Guess i know how to kill a thread.

Rock On, Folks

Marriage is FUN rolling on the floor laughing

RE: polyamory

Wait a minute, wait a minute laugh

Please explain why??? hug

RE: polyamory

rolling on the floor laughing

Guess it's just experience that shows us that monogamy is just not all that it's cracked up to be.

dunno

What do you dislike most.....

I've only lived here for a year as of July 19th.

I knew my neighbor. He was the one who told me the house was for sale.

I think the town believes that we were "similar". He's gay; I'm not.

He just moved out. Back to Massachusetts.

Hopefully, the rumour mill will make me "hetero" again. laugh

What a struggle rolling on the floor laughing grin

RE: Hi In Doha

You are so right.

My apologies sad flower

RE: Hi In Doha

Oh goody laugh

Another one who is alone, passionate and has "69" in his username.

What do you dislike most.....

So true Claayer!

Thanks goodness for the mail and UPS, though the guy still hasn't given me a tumble rolling on the floor laughing

I do bless the quiet here. And the lack of tourists.

I can be that crazy lady who's fixing up the Gray Place with no bother.
The neighbors just drive by and gape grin

The mail lady who stops says the place looks better.

I do dislike all the broken glass and rusty nails buried around the house.

I guess in the many years that this house has been here, folks just buried their trash and liked to break windows and bottles everywhere.

rolling on the floor laughing dunno

What do you dislike most.....

...about where you live?

Is it something about the area, town or city? Like traffic, taxes or lack of entertainment?

Or something more specific, like the house or apartment you live in?

grin

RE: What is a High Maintenance Woman?

New clothes?

What are those? laugh

My next clothes purchase will be from LL Bean.

Two winter sweaters that will last for years!!! grin

RE: Read Any Good...

I've been reading a three book series on the Civil War.

The author is Jeff Shaara

I liked the movie "Gettysburg", which is based on the middle book of the series titled "Killer Angels".

Hence the reason I decided to read the series.

RE: I AM SAD

I googled wal-mart employee bonuses.

Now correct me if I'm wrong.

Aren't these "profit sharing" bonus dependent on whether the individual store makes a profit?

All that loss takes away the store's profit.

If customers and employees are stealing this much stuff, maybe the security of the store is inadequate???

dunno

RE: I know you might not want this.. but I just have too..

thumbs up

Real Life......

RE: Wake ** up.

I'm awake, OK???laugh

I'm trying, really I am...

Burning wood, cutting up kindling for next winter.

Scary, isn't it, when oil costs so much that you wonder if you might suffer from a cold house and frozen pipes?

It's June and already the Maine media is talking about the fuel assistance programs for next winter.

I guess the horse and wagon may not be a bad idea dunno

RE: impeach bush and cheney

Why bother?

They'll be gone in November laugh

Save the time and money for hearings to impeach the next elected president who will probably turn out to be just as bad.

RE: Need any advice you may have on knowing someone who is bipolar and its symtoms

Good Post!

I have observed my neighbor who has this disability.

He has medication that he uses, but he also uses other illegal drugs, sometimes to excess.

I believe that his use of his prescription and these other drugs makes his life even more complicated. And especially makes his depressed stages much worse.

I think it's so important to understand a disability if you are living it or living with it and to act in a way that helps lessen the effects.

RE: cold approach

I'd rather the guy hand me a business card.

Then at least I'd know if he was employed and what he does for a living.

A business card should have an email address too.

That way an email could be sent outside of his workday.

And the business card has no spelling mistakes, me thinks laugh

RE: Save the Servers!!

I sure am laugh

But as always, it's like a tree falling in the forest rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Save the Servers!!

You know, a job is a job.

And most people with any class will tip 20% for adequate service.

What keeps you from learning how to do something else?

If you don't like the heat, get out of the kitchen. dunno

RE: cold approach

Why not ask....

It takes a certain amount of courage to walk up to a woman and ask for a phone number.

But courage is good!

RE: Say Something... No need for names, but names are welcome too. Be Nice.

You'll find your way.

There is a pecking order though......

RE: When Death knocks at your door....

Ah, I see, it's a spiritual thing; a near death experience.

Good Luck at your doctor appointment.

RE: old romance

rolling on the floor laughing

And at that point he might get the HINT ?

Nah, I'm going to try the lounge chair in the front yard with the skimpy outfit and see who takes the bait.

Sounds not very romantic...more like fishing.

But after I lure them in, they have to come up with the romance rolling on the floor laughing

RE: old romance

rolling on the floor laughing

No sigh

Problem is, I have to keep ordering "large" items to have him show up rolling on the floor laughing

Guess I should order one more kitchen cart, put on my tank top and short shorts and give him one last chance!

RE: old romance

I "went" and found that Latin phrase website and just love it....

Made me wish I took Latin in high school instead of French grin

Bottom line...a guy who can make me laugh, whether he opens a door for me or not....is PRICELESS love

Of course, on here, there are a certain few that....well...are attractive laugh

RE: old romance

I, too, long for those small gestures grin

Actually it goes both ways.

I think guys like the feeling of being the hero and being able to please a woman with little efforts like opening doors.

At least I hope they do dunno
