RE: Would you date? Would you tell?

I get what you are saying LBA but I'd want to know very early on. That's just me though, I'm sure others are different.

Also I don't get the having to trust someone to tell them, mental illness is not a taboo, we as a society need to lift the veil of secrecy around it. Mental illness covers a whole range of illnesses too, so it could be mild depression to full blown psychosis.

It's like the kids thing, when do you tell someone you have kids, from the first hello or after 10 months of stuffing them gagged in the attic?!

I guess I'm an up front kinda person!

RE: Would you date? Would you tell?

I'd need to know as early as possible. Possibly from the get go.

RE: Would you date? Would you tell?

I would want to know up front. Likewise I would be upfront.

RE: cowen

thumbs up thumbs up

RE: cowen

Don't worry DG I still loves ya kiss

RE: cowen

He lied about the IMF/ECB loan.

RE: cowen

The way things are we need a serious change in the Dail. I actually think the 'direct mandate' isn't good for this country as it leads to parish pump politics. To take an example of planning permission and how a local politician will try and pull a few strings and then the person is all happy with that politician and they vote for them - that is an insane system. It does not service the people well and we are left with eye sores of houses and/or housing estate that should never have been built - do you get me. That is only one example but there are loads... it's wrong and indecent.

I don't have all the answer but our current system has failed and we need to find a system that works.

RE: cowen

Jimbo are you serious? He has been caught lying loads of times in a handful of months, do you not remember the weekend of the IMF/ECB Loan (I refused to call it a bailout)? He nearly need a gun to his head to say yesterday in the Dail about who exactly had dinner with that night.

His intentions for the blanket guarantee where not to protect the country it was to protect his vested interests.

However I feel I should not have to elaborate. wow

RE: cowen

Politics in this country needs to change big time. The whole shower are a disgrace. Have any of you signed or checked out Fintan O'Toole's website. confused

RE: cowen

And don't forget this little nugget, I'm surprised at you DG!mumbling

RE: cowen

No he is not a decent man. very mad

RE: cowen

I've read this whole thread and frankly I'm sickened that there is pity/sympathy for Brian Cowen. I actually feel quite ill reading some of the posts.

Brian Cowen is a very well paid statesman that did nothing for this country but ruin it through his arrogance and ignorance.

He was minister for finance and he was asleep on the job, for years.

I really and truly wish nothing but contempt for the whole shower of FF and their supporters. I'm furious.

No wonder the country is in the state it's in when sheeple rewrite history and believe a word out of any politicians mouth.

very mad

RE: New Profile Pic

I'm more shallow than a puddle and fickle to boot!

RE: New Profile Pic

Lovely new picture. I think everyone is shallow to a certain degree. However what someone finds attractive someone else could find hideous!

RE: why do people send messages

LMAO I told him to come on over...

RE: why do people send messages

I just got a great message, it reads, from a 21 year old, no picture:

Hey I'm free tonight if you're interested.... applause

RE: Newbie to meets

RE: A Celebrity You Like and One You Hate

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Really?!

I despise her views.

RE: A Celebrity You Like and One You Hate

Vincent is great, I love the trailing off, he pleases me no end. As for that Ruth she is a 'c' word of the highest order.

RE: A Celebrity You Like and One You Hate

Now now don't diss the Vinnie!

RE: A Celebrity You Like and One You Hate

What is so great about Kev yes I read his 'articles' but I find him pompous and extremely annoying.

RE: why do people send messages

Ok when I'm sending messages to someone who has caught my eye, I make sure I read and "get" their profile.

Then I send something witty. This tactic hasn't worked well as I'm on this site over 2 years and only had two dates!

Maybe I should change tactics.... confused

RE: debt

Honestly you don't need a company to do this for you. Any individual can do this.

MABS have these letters on their site. Tell your friend to check it out.

RE: debt

I'm trying hard to decipher your post. The best advice would be to contact MABS the money advice and budgeting service. They have a website with spreadsheet that will help you do a budget.

If there is a lot of debt they will contact you or your friends creditors and come to an affordable arrangement. This is a free service, do not pay a company to do this for you as it is costly and unnecessary.

In fact you don't have to get MABS to do it either you could do it yourself.

Best of luck.

Ps. also try askaboutmoney.com some great advice there.
