Things changed from 1982, not the Alhambra, but the ride here.

Now there are fast zipping trains, artificial irrigation, and a smooth highway all the way. Almost...

It's a lovely place, not lush as Tuscany but it has a charm and a way of life that gets to you in a good way.

Motto here - if sun still shines - siesta. (Rises at 7am settles at 21pm - not a day without it)

Well, here we will be joining up first time since a month and a half, but holiday is on the agenda, we will enjoy the home for a few days and then be on our way.

It is up and above the 40C now and for the most of August, so I wont miss laying in the sun. In September I will be back alone and make it a "proper home".

For now, it will be like a huge hotel room.

There's a few, let's spill the locations and they will know who they are;

I would do the Adriatic coast line heading north, skip to Austria, make a 90 degree turn to the left and pass through Switzerland, then bike to Paris for a . With a few weeks left I hitch a hike from CDG to Cancun, enjoying the waters and the company there before I continue east, touching down in Osaka and a week later in Bangkok.

From there it is back to old Europe, a calm weekend in Bucharest if such can be had there and then home via a short stop in Malta.

I think I covered all...

I'll back that, and take the time to point out that Lankawi is way different from the rest of Malaysia, more relaxed and more Chinese around town.

A short trip with a "tin can" of a Jet-boat brings you to a small city in Thailand where shopping is great.

For holiday with a pearl - Lankawi is sure to be the place

There is no if - she simply is very smart, I taught her backgammon so she could beat me. I'll never win an argument if she chooses to have one, as she will have made sure she is on safe ground before walking down that path.

Or status in life is not reflected at home; she have a career to pursue and I have my knitting to finish.
